I am exactly 9 months pregnant now. Our baby boy will be coming any day now. Well we think so. We hope he will be here soon. BamBam and I think we are ready to be parents. We still haven't fully decided on a name for our son yet but we think we like Maxwell so that might be his name. We just can't wait till he us here. BamBam are sitting down to have dinner soon. He has been doing most of the cooking recently to give me a break and he said he will when the baby is here. He's doing a mild curry tonight as apparently curry is meant to help bring on labor. Don't know if that's just a myth. I'm sat on the couch until BamBam tells me it's ready. "It's ready, baby. Come and get it" he said. "Okay" I reply. "I'm not really that hungry but it smells great" I say. "That's okay. Don't worry" he said. We sit down at the table and he serves me like he usually does. "That's enough" I say. He smiles and sit down opposite me. "This might be the last meal we have before our boy is here" BamBam said. "Yeah possibly" I say. "Hope he's here soon. I just can't wait to meet my son" he said. "Me too. I cannot wait to, Bammie" I reply. So we finish dinner and then tidy up even though BamBam wouldn't let me. After we sit down together. "That was good even though I didn't really feel like eating much" I say. "Well I'm glad it was good" he said kissing me. About an hour after we had eaten and I feel a sharp pain and the urge to go to the bathroom. "Are you okay, honey?" BamBam asks. "Yep I just need the bathroom. Won't be long" I reply. I go into the bathroom and sit for a few minutes and go to the toilet. I think I just needed a big poo. I got off the toilet a few minutes ago my waters broke. "BamBam!" I scream. "OMG what's the matter?" he said running in. "My waters have broken" I say. "Are you in labor?" he said. "I think so" I say. "Errmmm it's okay. Stay calm. Don't worry" he said. BamBam starts to panic more than me. I think he thought I was going to give birth in the bathroom but they didn't happen luckily
BamBam takes me to hospital soon. When my waters had broken, the contractions started to get worse. I'm definitely in labor now. We get in the car and he drives. He was panicking more than me. The baby will be born in the hospital not in the car. I had to keep on telling him that. Haha. We were in such a rush that we forgot to bring the things from home. BamBam will have to go back later. Soon we arrive outside the hospital. BamBam parks up and I get out of the car. "We are here. Don't worry, baby" he said. He tries to pick me up and I say "It's okay. I can walk". "Okay, sweetie" he said. We arrive at the front desk by the maternity unit. "She's in labor. My girlfriend" BamBam said. "What's your name, Miss?" the woman at reception said. "Y/ F/ N" I reply. "Hang on. There will be a room ready for you soon" she said. "Thank you so much" BamBam said. Soon there was a room ready for me. They made me put a hospital gown on and then they examined me. "You are 6cm dilated so more than half" the doctor said. "Okay so it could still be sometime" I reply. "Yes most likely but just keep calm. There is no way of telling how quick a labor will be" he said. The medical staff leave the room leaving BamBam and I alone. "Hopefully it won't be long now. I just can't wait to meet my son" he said. "I know. I can't wait too" I reply. "I'm here, baby. I'll go home for the things later but I want to be here for when my son is born" he said kissing my hand. "Okay that's fine. I want you here" I reply. Several hours have passed and it's now the early hours of the morning. BamBam went right off to sleep in the chair next to me, whereas I was wide awake. The time is passing slowly. No sign of our baby boy yet. BamBam wakes up when it gets to morning. "Hey, what time is it?" he asks. "About 8:30am" I yawn. "Oh I didn't miss anything. Did I?" he said. "No you didn't silly. I would've woken you up" I reply. "Okay I'm glad I didn't" he said. Labor went on till the afternoon. Midday our baby boy was finally going to make an entrance into the world. At last. Feels like we've been here a long time
BamBam and I are holding our newborn son now. We are so glad he's finally here in our arms. "He's so adorable and cute" I say. "He is indeed. Just like me" he said. "So do you think Maxwell as his name?" I ask. "He's definitely. If you like the name, I do" he said. "Yes I do. I love it and it suits him" I say. "Well Maxwell is his name. Maxwell Bhuwakul. Max would be a cute little nickname for him" BamBam said. "It would. Such a cute name for such a cute boy" I smile. "Baby, he's finally here and he's perfect" he said. "He is" I smile looking at BamBam and Maxwell. BamBam got to hold Maxwell soon. "Hey, little guy. This is your dad" he said. "He looks just like you, Bammie" I beam. "I have to say he does. You're going to beak a lot of hearts, Max" he said. "Yep he is. Girls are going to be falling at his feet" I reply. "Y/ N, it was important to me that we gave him a Scottish name" BamBam said. "Yeah I know. We finally agreed of the perfect name for our perfect little boy" I smile. Our little boy is here. Maxwell. We haven't given him a middle name as he doesn't really need one. Maxwell is the perfect name for him. We will call him Max as well. Labor was long but it was definitely worth it in the end. BamBam and I are over the moon that our little boy is here safe and sound
