(a/n Yo! sorry the last chapter was so short, i was rushed and wanted to get something out :D hopefully this clears confusion up)
Salix's P.O.V.
Asa, my friend Grek and I broke into the place where we thought John had gone. Grek was the one who noted that he was missing for way too long. He somehow picked up John's scent and ran with it, so Asa and I followed. Once we got in there Grek started to pretend that he was John's mate, then this weird chick in a black bodysuit jumps out of nowhere and assaults my "father". Asa somehow knew her, I don't know, girls are weird. Then we got Habicus (yup that's his dad's name) to a room upstairs we passed on the way in. I heard the 3 guard-like dudes run up the stairs then the loud sound of sudden gunshots. Huh, that's weird... I thought they were working for Habicus... I thought. Asa and Grek tended to John and I kept watch by the door, I wasn't the best with blood and injuries. I clutched my bow and sheath close as someone climbed the stairs. That weird lady from before, I think her name is... June, I wasn't listening. I wouldn't know, comes sauntering into the room and drops a small green leaf-looking package onto one of the tables. Asa thanked her, unwrapped a layer and put it in John's mouth. I beckoned the lady over, "So... what exactly is your relation to my mate, and basically any information about you you can give me?" She laughed, the smile not making its way to her eyes. "My name is Juniper Keld, I'm a hired sort of exorcist, I met Asa on a job, and I mean no harm to you or your related... any more questions lover-boy?" I smirked, "No, and for your information, my name is Salix, the kid on the table is John, my younger brother, and the other kid is Grek my best friend," My eyes drifted to the blade in her hand, it seemed to wink with the light, "And don't you dare think of using that on any of us." I then turned back to the doorway and crossed my arms across my chest.
