"Finally you're here, your pet dog is very protective of this porch," the boy says pointing in my direction. hey, I'm no dog.

growling in his direction because that was just offensive, I may be tiny but I'm no dog.

the boy just rolls his eyes and goes over to where mate is, he has already shifted back and has shorts low on his hips.

" She's not a dog Rex that's my mate, and for some reason, she won't shift back into human form," mate says walking up the porch, he comes over to my direction and before I even know what's happening I'm picked up by the scruff and placed between his feet, I yelp and wiggle around wanting to be let go but he taps me on the head and I freeze... I'm gonna get beat, let's just stay still.

"If you look she's really tiny and has scared all over her frame, you can see her backbones and ribs, and from what I can tell she hasn't eaten the food I laid out for her" mate sighs and runs his hand through my fur.

I'm still not moving

"Well have you taken her to the doctor, maybe they can help or I don't know a vet," the boy named Rex says

what's a doctor, I tilt my head to the side confused

"I mean are you sure she's not just a regular wolf," Rex says earning a growl from mate

"why would the moon goodness pair me with a regular she wolf" he growled out still running his hands through my fur, feels good

they're silent for a minute before my mate stands up and walks into the house. Me and Rex are confused on what's going on, did I upset mate.

Soon he came back with a wood stick and paper. I think that was, he sits down in front of me and writes what is that um I think the A B C's.

"ok girl I'm gonna we're gonna need you to tell us your name ok" mate says sweetly, this should be fun.

"ok I'm gonna run my finger slowly across each word and the first letter of your name you see I need you to bark ok"

nodding my head he starts.

he gets close to the end and sighs but keeps going till he hits the letter Z bark wagging my tell as his eyes widen some.

"Ok Z that's the first letter" he asks and I nod my head.

he goes again and I bark when he lands on the letter I

"OK Z I"

I bark again when he lands on the letter V

" ZIV...."

then a bark and paw the ground when he lands on the letter A

"ZIVA" he says looking at me I nod my head excited he now knows my name

"your name is Ziva" I yelp happy he understands

he looks at me for a minute before turning to Rex looking at him "ok I guess you're right, I need to take her to the doctor" he huffs

"Well I wish the best for ya mate" Rex says taking off down the stairs then in a blink of an eye he's gone. WHAT IN THE WORLD

I stand and look around, did someone take him, he was right here. i'm going crazy

a hand lands on my back causing me to jump only to find a mate staring at me.
