"Keep going, it's right on our tail!" An unknown figure calls out to you.
You cock your head to the left side and see Taylor sprinting away, from what seemed like a ferocious 4 legged creature chasing after us, its growl a monstrous and dark tone.
You stare towards your left hand, where you wield a mythical dark matter infused orb, capable of harnessing exponentially large amounts of energy and powering your home civilisation for up to 2,000 years.
This mission was dangerous, you knew the risks and signed up for the mission, the hazardous consequences lay ahead.
"RRaauGGhHh!!!" The creature screeches into the night sky, and begins to preform swift manoeuvres, matching your speed in almost an instant.
With your adrenaline pumping towards maximum, orb in hand. you quickly dash towards your ship, the InterStellar. Taylors is positioned right behind you.
The spacecraft grows closer with every step you take, the creatures heavy weight creating a violent earthquake beneath your feet. It's getting close, and your running out of time.
You analyse the obstacles in front of you. Directly ahead is a large wooden crate obstructing your path towards the ship, towards your left looms an industrial sized dumpster too tall to climb and to your right is a small, rusty vent embedded in a decaying brick wall...
With no time to waste, you throw yourself towards the ground, closing your limbs as you head to your right and slide effortlessly through the narrow space, emerging from the other side with only minor injuries.
You take control of yourself and continue running towards InterStellar, your energy at unprecedented levels.
You're only a minute away from the ship until you realise Taylor is nowhere to be found. In a defensive position, you pull up your holographic device located within your arm and begin searching for the whereabouts of your friend.
A minute passes, no response from the GPS...
2 minutes...
3 minutes...
Your time to escape draws closely to a halt as you resume your stance, searching for a lost Taylor.
"Come on Taylor! Don't you dare leave me!" You yell into the black void, but with no response.
Eventually, the 4 legged creature is barricaded behind the wall, the only object keep it away from you. It's gargantuan roar startles and throws you back, almost like as an invisible force is playing with your body.
Tears form in the threshold of your eyes, the water gushing down your face. Reluctantly, you consider your options and wether you should abandon Taylor and retreat to the ship, or stay here in the light that you will re-discover her beautiful face.
