"Changbin!" A voice called, echoing throughout the hallway, with footsteps just as loud.

The said boy turned around only to be met with Chan, hands on his knees, catching his breath. The poor guy looked as if he just ran a marathon, which wasn't completely wrong, to say the least.

"What's wrong hyung? What're you running from?" Changbin asked, looking behind the panting boy.

"I-" Chan huffed, finally starting to catch his breath. "Quickly get Jisung, the signups for the talent quest starts today." He said in between breaths.

Changbin's eyes widened in realisation. "Shit! I completely forgot about that!"

"Yes and Jisung did too, so quickly go get him. I'll meet you guys in the usual place to collect our stuff, 'Kay?" The Australian glanced at Changbin sternly.

"Yeah, we'll be there." Changbin replied just as seriously.

The school's talent quest was no joke, it was held at the school auditorium, which was on the larger side of the scale, but even with that, it was still extremely hard to obtain a ticket to the show. The school was known for it's musical and creative arts, many of the graduates later became a history maker in the music industry. Most of the students came to the school to pursue a music related career and, as expected, would succeed. The talent quest was not only for entertainment but a chance for companies to scout the generation's next stars; which was why Chan and Changbin were currently rushing to collect Jisung to the audition.

'I guess the cake will have to wait for later.' Changbin sighed as he went to collect their youngest member.

       Surprisingly, Felix found himself walking home alone that day. Usually the four would walk part of the way together as they lived near one another but today Jeongin and Seungmin were called in by the choir club last-minute, as they were one of the opening acts for the talent quest; Jisung got caught by his clingy boyfriend, now getting dragged off to, and Felix quotes, a 'post-birthday date' which was really an excuse to spend time with each other.

When Felix walked past the park, he remembered his little 'study date' with Changbin and could not help but smile when his eyes lingered at the swing set. Before he knew it, Felix was walking toward the rusty swing set, taking a seat on the worn-out rubber whilst the wind blew the dead, autumn leaves gently across the park; Felix started feeling a little lonely at the scene. Though he was the one who said it was okay, but then again he couldn't stop them from going as they were busy anyways.

The autumn wind carried his sigh as he swung lightly on the old swing set. He wanted to go higher but was suddenly stopped by a hand on his back. Shocked, he slowly turned around, ready to attack.

"Who's there?" He asked with fear wavering in his tone.

Felix turned around fully, only to be met with Changbin, who had just retracted his hand from the younger.

"Hi Felix." Changbin greeted, scratching the back of his neck nervously.

Felix's face flushed a light pink, he looked down at his feet, feeling flustered, "Hi, uh- Changbin hyung." The freckled boy struggled to fight his nervous stuttering, trying to sound as normal and not-awkward as possible.

Changbin gripped the white box tighter behind his back, trying to calm his nerves down, "I got you a cake," the older rambled rather messily "I mean- happy birthday Felix! uh- have a cake?" He said the last line with uncertainty evident in his voice, not knowing whether the angel in front of him would be pleased with his efforts.

Felix tip-toed to peek behind the raven-haired boy, and sure enough, he was holding a white cake box in his hands; to which the freckled angel smiled brightly at, "thanks hyung! I really love cakes." He said, with the most brightest smile Changbin had ever seen; he felt his heart swell with pride at the sight, 'can I be the one to make to smile like that forever?' He thought as he gave the cake to Felix.
