Fresh from a divorce from Plastic Surgeon Mark Sloan, Sky Rivers finds a new start at Seattle Grace Memorial Hospital. But the past eventually catches up.

Addison: "Chronic insensitivity to pain. Yeah. I've seen it in babies, it's usually diagnosed young, but if she's been bounced around the foster care system..."
Alex: "Dr. Rivers? What the hell is that?" he asks as an image appears on the screen

Sky: "Megan's bleeding internally."
Father: "What?"
Sky: "It appears there's some severe trauma to her abdomen."
Father: "You're trying to ask if we hit her, we've said ten times, different ways..."
Sky: "Social Services cleared you and I'm sorry we suggested you were mistreating her. But she's hurt pretty badly, so we're going to need to operate."
Mother: "Oh, my God."
Addison: "Megan may have a chromosomal condition that causes her to not feel any pain when she's injured. It would explain why she gets hurt so often."
Sky: "We need to do some genetic testing before we can be sure, but let's assume she'll need to be monitored very closely from now on."
Alex: "We got OR three."
Mother: "So surgery's the only option?"
Sky: "I think it is. I know you've been put through the wringer already today, but I need to ask you to trust me on this."
Alex: "Where is she? Where's Megan?"
Sky: "She's..." she says pointing out the door where the wheelchair Megan was sitting in is now empty ➿ Callie: "Hey!"
Sky: "O'Malley we've lost Supergirl and she's bleeding into her abdomen. Start looking in corners." she says seeing George in the hallway and making him help with finding her

Alex: "Man. She wasn't kidding about the baseball bat." he says after finding Megan and they start her surgery
Sky: "I need more lap pads. Just keep them coming."
Alex: "Are you going to resect the liver?"
Sky: "We need to try and do a debridement. Look at this. Everybody wants a life without pain. What does it get you? She needs to be on a poster somewhere to remind people pain's there for a reason."

Alex: "Megan's stable. I ordered a repeat H&H in two hours." he says as him and Sky walk along halls
Sky: "Ok." she nods her head
Bailey: "Has she been out there all day?" she asks as they walk past her and her voice stops them as they look outside to see Izzie standing in front of the building

Addison: "Hey. How'd Megan's surgery go?" she asks seeing Sky heading out the building
Sky: "Good. We'll need to do a few more tests but she should be good."
Addison: "That's good. That's good" she says before thinking of something and sighs out "I uh...um...Mark is in town and...when you dropped me off at the hotel I was meeting him." she says as Sky is silent for a moment before shrugging her shoulders
Sky: "Ok."
Addison: "Ok? That's it? You're not going to call me names...get mad...slap me?"
Sky: "Nope. He stopped being my problem a long time ago. He's all yours." she says giving her a small smile before walking away to her car

Sky: "You knew Mark was in town?" she asks Derek as they sit outside his trailer eating some food and drinking beer
Derek: "Yeah. I was going to tell you."
Sky: "And that him and Addison slept together?"
Derek: "That I wasn't going to really tell you."
Sky: "That why you were acting like a possesive boyfriend with Meredith and Finn today?"
Derek: "You saw that?" he asks chuckling a little
Sky: "Yeah I did. It was sad really" she says as they laugh out before she sighs with a small smile on her face "You know when Addison told me...I didn't get mad. I didn't feel anything about it actually."
Derek: "You're moving on." he says as they smile at each other
Sky: "Yes I am." she says as they clink their bottles together
