I watched as Trinity got off the floor and step into her closet. She came out later with a bundle of clothes and a towel. A few minutes later, the shower came on. I looked out the window and saw that it was around late afternoon.

What can we do at this time?

Movies? Park? Clubbing?

The last option sounds good. Even though I rarely went out before. Would Trin be up for it? I bet she would, because she IS Trin.

'Wanna go Clubbing?' I mind linked her.

It took a few seconds before she replied. 'Yeah, sure.'

'Be ready in three hours. But we're going to have a meeting first.'

I got up and went into my room, mind linking all the girls about the club tonight. They agreed, bringing their mate along.

I sat down on the bed and thought.

Where the hell is Liam? Why wasn't there anyone to hear her screaming? Now I'm mad at him. He wasn't there to protect her. And now they've gotten her.

I laid back on the bed and closed my eyes. I can call for a meeting whenever I want. That's one of the other good things about being a Protector plus a Luna.

'Urgent meeting in an hour.' I called out to all the elders and warriors of pack.

Immediately, Liam concerned voice responded. 'What's that about this urgent meeting? What's going on?'

I huffed in anger. 'What's going on is that you weren't there to protect Trin. This meeting is about her.'

'What? I was in my office the whole time. Door wide open. What happened to her?'

'So you're telling me you didn't hear her screaming for help?!'

'Li, calm down. What's going on? I didn't hear a single sound. I'm on my way to you.'

I groaned in frustration . How the hell does he not hear her? She was practically screaming her lungs out!

I'll deal with this later. I jumped off the bed and into the bathroom to prepare the shower.

Twenty minutes later, I was done. I slipped on my black sweats with my white loose tank top. As I exited the bathroom, I was met with a sleeping Liam. A half naked sleeping Liam. My eyes immediately zeroed in on his abs. Ones that I am craving as of now. It's true that Liam and I haven't been 'together' for a while. There's nothing going on between us, it's just the stress and the Fae's have been keeping my hormonal level down. Liam always offer to catch up, but I always reply with a 'not right now' or 'I'm not in the mood.' He's all understating with it too. I miss him. I miss us.

"Why don't you join me?" I snapped my gaze away from his body to his face. "Get a few moments of relaxation. Goddess knows you haven't been doing that lately."

"The meeting's in half an hour," I stated. I was really tempted to cuddle up in bed with him. Maybe more.

"So?" He shrugged. "We start the meeting, not them. And besides, everyone will understand why we're late. Especially you."

I slumped back on the wall. "I guess a few moments of relaxation wouldn't kill me."

"Of course it won't." I rolled my eyes at him and walked over to the bed to him.

He lifted the covers for me as I got on the bed. We both scooted closer to each other, basking in each others warmth.

"You smell good."
