I did not know what I was getting into when I walked into that after school activity. I had joined my sister, thinking it was all just for fun. Just a few steps and it's done. I couldn't be more wrong.

I was walking like a new born giraffe. Feeling like a snake trapped in its old skin.

People were directing me and telling me what to do. However, when I looked up, all I could see was you. At that moment, it felt like you could see me too.

The way you stood. The way you stared. The way you talked. The way you moved those lips.

You were all I could notice.

Then I was ushered away. I was too stunned to have anything to say. I always knew I would never get my way.

I couldn't help but let my eyes search the halls for you. I couldn't help but kill every other thought just to fit the ones of you. I couldn't help but be helpless.

Every time you walked by I would feel it. That sinking feeling in my heart. That pleasing feeling in my gut, that told me, you're the one.

I always knew what my cousin would say before he even said it. "God your so gaay". Even though it wasn't true, it didn't matter. You've become the reason for my every waking day. And I couldn't have it any other way.

Then there were days where I didn't see you. Then weeks. Before I knew it, I stopped noticing when you'd walk into a room, stopped thinking of you, stopped smiling at the thought of you, stopped feeling for you.

But to this day your still the one.
