"Not that we don't see your point, but this was a choosen life style," Salmen muttered. "Why should others tell us to live differently?"

Ares sighed before handing Lani to Malani.

"Because if you don't, you will all die. You will have constant wars to face, and with each one someone will pay," Ares answered sharply. "Like your friends. Blythe lost her parents to a dragon. You both lost your parents in a war because of dragons. Boa is blind in one eye due to dragon fire. Hiccup lost his leg because of dragons. How many more are going to suffer from dragons?"

"And how many dragons will continue to suffer from us?" Malani asked. "Akilina lost her dragon because of Lilian and Ares. Many others are trapped, hunted, skinned, sold, and go threw more I'm sure."

Salmen sighed and gave in. He wouldn't fight them with this, but he wasn't ready to let go. Not yet.

"Alright, but I help with insuring they are taken somewhere safer. That if, and only if, we help in freeing the other dragons out there."

Y/n hadn't a right to argue with the her chief. Sky, sensing her distress, nudge her gentle. Unfortunately it didn't do much help.

"Hey guys, do you could help us find somewhere else for these dragons?" Hiccup called walking in with Toothless

Feeling the tension Hiccup went to walk out, Toothless behind.

"Uh sorry, I'll come back later," Hiccup chuckled nervously.

"No, your fine. So what was that about helping dragons?" Salmen asked.

The healers hut was fully of people left and right. Blythe, Kaia, and Demetrius tried there best with the injured people and dragons. Ashaw was one of them, but he wasn't in as bad condition as the others. Only a few cuts and bruises. Standing up and heading out, Ashaw surveyed the damage.

Houses torn down, the ground splattered with droplets of blood, and the mess from one end to the other due to the rumble. Shaking his head, Ashaw heading down the the beach with his dragon behind him. On his way down there was a lone boat with a group around it speaking in hushed tones. His dragon took hold of his shirt to not let him go out there, but Ashaw only shoved the dragon off and did so anyways.

So the two flew in silences.

Within the late hours of the night, they finally arrived to fine the village on the verge of collapsing. Landing, Salmen rushed off to find Ashaw with no such luck. When he didn't find him, he decided to head to the healers hut, with Ares behind him as both their dragons surveyed the area for any threats. Upon enter the healers hut, Salmen had doubled back at the sight. When Ares saw what Salmen did, he himself grew weary.

"What happened here?" Salmen muttered.

"Oh wouldn't you like to know?" An injured man grumbled. "If you were here, these people would be in such bad shape, chief. After all, skirmishes aren't this bad when your here."

Salmen flinched at the way the man spat his title. Ares noticed and reacted quicker than he could think, but he also noted the tone the man had. The tone and meaning behind it is what really set Ares off.
