Chapter 10: Unexpected Guest

A/n: Sorry it's been a while, things have just been crazy. Most just drama and no one like that.

So onwards with the story.

Hiccup had informed his father of the party. Of course he would have gladly gone, but he had to stay behind to insure Berks safety. Gobber and Gothi however, they were on board on going to see Y/n again. The trip was overall a tiresome one, but overall worth it. After all, it had been so long since they had a break.

Reaching the island Gobber was in awed at the structures as it was defendable by dragons and man. The only thing was, it appeared small. Not only that but the place had few people and dragons about. This worried them a bit as they knew there was more than this here on the island. Landing clumsy on the platform opened up to them.

"Welcome. I shall escort you to the festival grounds," a young man smiled.

Leading the group threw the nearly deserted town area, they ended up near a deep hole. It was very dark and very deep.

"Um, what's with the hole?" Snoutlout asked.

The man smiled. A walked around it pulling on a lever. Stone platforms appear spiraling downwards into the dark depths.

"After you."

Everyone stared at the man skeptically. That was until a voice interrupted there fearful gaze.

"Oh don't worry, it's safe."

Turning, everyone couldn't help but smile. Ashaw had Malani in his arms with Y/n and their dragons behind them.

"Go head and lead the way. Malani and I are going to stay and keep a look out," Ashaw murmured.

Y/n rolled her eyes giving them a knowing look.

"Yeah, okay. Come. Right this way."

Sky bounded to Toothless nudging him before diving into the hole Toothless, with hesitant followed. The other dragons followed Toothless and Sky. Y/n chuckled and started down with Hiccup and his friends following. Farther and farther down they went it was dark, but a pleasant warmth came forth. Before long light from a torch was bright and welcoming.

At the bottom of the steps, Y/n patiently waited for everyone to get down before pulling a lever at the bottom of the stairs. The steps vanished into the wall. Light the dragons gave shown a large circular room big enough to fit two of the red deaths. While Hiccup and his friends admired there surrounding, Y/n moved over to the wall and pressed a stone inwards. With that, a large opening appear before them all.

The scent of foods and burning wood filled the air as cheers and music rang threw the air. Laughter and warmth welcomed them in. Slowly everyone filed in entering a large cave live area filled with lights and decor. Reds and gold table cloth laided on the long tables near the walls as amber and gold banners with pictures hung on the walls. Food and beverages spread across the tables making the Berkins mouth water.

"Please, eat, drink, dance," Y/n smiled.

The twins with Snoutlout rushed to the food table. Fishlegs wasn't far behind as the dragons rushed in the join in. Hiccup, Astrid, Gobber, and Gothi stayed admiring the room. It was colossal. The roof held areas from the dragons to perch on as the room spread so far it was quiet difficult to see the end of the room.

Y/n turned to them and smiled. She was happy to see them again.

"It nice to see you all again," Y/n smiled.

Gothi was the first to embrace her. Y/n crouched down hugging her only mother figure and mentor. Before long the parted and Gobber held Y/n with a small chuckle.
