"Aurora...you're way prettier than her, she has that ugly shade of yellow hair, it looks like movie popcorn butter." she shuddered. I laughed lightly, most of the tension between our group was settled; Axel and Charlie had made amends...well more like Axel had come to terms with Charlie and Anya's decision to keep their forbidden rendezvous a secret.

"Hey," Axe kissed my cheek, setting down a packet of ketchup. I gasped and hugged him tightly, of course! I had forgotten my ketchup, it was a necessity when it came to my sandwiches.

"Forgetting something huh?" he winked, pulling me into his lap and reaching into my lunch bag, pulling out a packet of mustard.

"Guess we got mixed up this morning," I laughed, leaning into his chest as I opened the packet of ketchup and spread it along my sandwich. Although Axel and I were almost completely the same, he hated ketchup and I hated mustard, just like he hated anything artsy and I hated anything sports related. It was an on and off thing with us I suppose.

"At least I noticed, otherwise you would've had nothing but a dry sandwich to hold you over until we got home," he smiled. I rolled my eyes and sighed,

"What ever, at least I know how to drive properly." I grinned smugly, taking a drink of my water.

"We'll see about that on the way home," Axel poked at my sides again, making me spew with laughter.

"Oh I forgot to tell you! Mother wants us to go to the annual shareholder's ball on Friday, it starts at nine but they're trying to push it to at least ten or ten thirty since my game doesn't end until at least nine. Cindy wants to go...but I told her I might take you instead," he spoke.

I rolled my eyes, I loved the annual ball, it was fun and just a lot of dancing, it was just the fact that Axel might have to take Cindy to the ball.

Axel and Cindy were each other's 'firsts', he calls her a practice girl behind her back, but acts sweet to her in front of her face. Cindy had blonde hair, it could almost pass for natural if there wasn't strips of white running down from her roots. She was always rude to me for no reason, I never ratted her out for spending the night at our house with Axel and I was always nice to her, but she just had a bitchy attitude.

"Okay, well...if you have to take her I guess I'll ask someone," I sighed, looking around the lunchroom. My eyes landed on Tanner himself, almost as if I was looking for him, which I wasn't. He smirked at me, taking a drink from his water bottle and giving me a wink. I narrowed my eyes at him, hoping that my death stare would make his dark eyes fall right out of their sockets, alas, no luck.

"Aurora..." Axel snapped his finger in front of my face, I shook my head, coming out of my trance,

    "Hm?" I replied stupidly,

"I said, I don't think Cindy wants to go with me anyway, I'm pretty sure she's been seeing someone else." he spoke, taking another bite out of his sandwich.

"Okay well, if she isn't going with you, let me know. We have to pick out colors." I replied, putting my lunch away.

"Will do, see you at practice?" he smiled. I nodded as the bell rang and he gathered his things, giving my a kiss on the cheek and jogging to catch up with his friends.

--

"Yes!" I whispered to myself as Axel threw another perfect pass to the end zone,

"I don't understand number three," Anya whined and I laughed lightly.

"Well...first you have to take the ions and-" my explanation was cut short by an annoying voice looming over me.

"Hey there Aurora," she spat, I sighed and turned around.

   "Hello Cindy,"

"Your brother told me some interesting news about the ball, said he had no one to go with..." she sighed, checking her nails.

"Okay...and why are you telling me?" I replied, she smiled and looked out onto the field.

"Because...I'm going to break it off with your brother, in front of everyone, and he's going to be devastated." she nodded, crossing her arms.

"Well Axel is a big boy, I think he can handle brushing something as small as this off of his shoulder." I sighed, closing up my books and placing them in my bag.

"Axel and I have been together since we started high school, I don't think this is something 'small', Aurora." she rolled her eyes.

I smirked and shook my head,

"Okay well practice is ending and Axel and I have to get home soon, I'll text you later Anya...goodbye Cindy."  I waved, walking down the bleacher stairs and onto the field to where the guys had just broken from their post-practice huddle.

"Hey there stinky," I smiled as Axel ran up to me, twirling me around in a circle.

"I saw Cindy talking to you...what was that all about?" he smiled, setting me down. I sighed and shrugged,

"Major drama coming in 3,2..." as if on cue Cindy waltzed onto the field, walking straight up to Axel and I. Axel pushed me behind him some as Cindy approached us,

"I would just like to say that we are officially over Axel, I don't want anything to do with you and I don't want to go to some stupid ball with you...we're finished." she spoke loud enough for everyone to hear, flipping her hair behind her shoulder.

"Okay," Axel shrugged, taking my hand and leading me towards the locker room, leaving Cindy standing there with her mouth hanging open.

"And by the way...I'm screwing Tanner," she called after him. I stopped. Did I hear that correctly?

"What did you say?" Axel spoke for the both of us,

"That's right, been going on for quite some time now, just thought you'd like to know since we're broken up." she replied. I was beyond furious, I'd had my tongue in his fucking mouth and so had she, the only difference was, she was a whore and had kissed the entire school. I nearly gagged at the thought of kissing Tanner ever again.

"Well...I hope you two are happy, you deserve each other." I surprised them by replying for Axel who in return nodded and walked towards the locker room, squeezing my hand before leaving me waiting in the hall for him to finish.

I just hoped I never had to see Tanner again after what Cindy had told us; of course, the universe had other plans for me.

Chapter 2 is up! Sorry for the late update. To clarify, Anya and Charlie had sex, which is forbidden in the world they live in. Siblings may take part in the same masturbation and also help one another achieve orgasm, but never ever are they allowed to share the same bed unless they make a case for themselves in court. Axel and Aurora have a normal sibling relationship, it seems like they're a couple but in the world they live in, for siblings to be really close is normal. Siblings who do nothing but fight and hate each other is considered to be abnormal. Again, thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed. Please don't forget to vote and comment and please add to your library! Bye! xoxo
