A snowflake pendant and the arctic blue eyes, that's all she could remember from that horrifying night. She was just taking a stroll at the park ten minutes from her house, but she suddenly felt chills and it's as if she was being followed, she knew she shouldn't have looked behind her but she just couldn't help herself. When she turned, she saw four men following her, they didn't even bother to be subtle about it. She tried walking faster and she could hear those footsteps going as fast as her and with the adrenaline rush.
She ran as fast her feet would allow her and she heard it again, they were also running to her, maybe it was from pure fear combined with adrenaline, before she knew it, she was trapped in an alleyway. She turned around and she saw the four men already caught up to her and are now slowly walking towards her. She tried to scream but she just became completely paralyzed in fear of knowing of what will happen next.
Then her view was met with a figure, a feminine figure to be exact. It was dark but thanks to the light from the end of the alleyway, she could make out the outline of the figure and she heard it, punches were being thrown, bones were cracking groans and grunts of pain filled her ears and a few more minutes that's what she could only hear. Then a few moments, it became quiet. The silence was deafening, she desperately wanted to hear.
Then she could hear soft footsteps and then stopped and she knew the woman was right in front of her just watching her, observing her. She was about to thank the woman who saved her. But the other voice beat her to it. It was the softest voice she heard in her twenty-three years of life. 'Are you okay?' The voice asked kindly. The girl replied with as much voice as she could but only a soft almost a squeak 'Yes.' She tried her hardest to see her savior but what she could only see is the glowing of her arctic blue eyes and the snowflake pendant in what she guessed the chest area. Then the voice chuckled softly and took the other girl's hand and led her from the alleyway, she stopped just right before they reached the light of the lamp post. Her savior pushed her gently towards the light while she remained in the darkness. She was kindly told by the woman to go straight home and get some rest.
Before she could even reply, she felt a gentle cold wind behind her and felt that the woman already vanished. She tried her best to walk towards her home, as soon as she reached her house, she could feel all the adrenaline leave her body and feel tired. She didn't even bother to change her clothes she just removed her belt and bra and fell to her bed and she was out cold. Unbeknownst to her, the figure that saved her was watching over her from the roof of another house close to hers and smiled at her as she witnessed the whole thing, she followed the girl through the roof and when she saw the girl finally settled in the safety of her own home, 'At least she had the mind to lock her doors.' And when she was convinced that the girl she saved was safe enough. She jumped from the roof and disappeared into the night.
