"Wake up sweetie" Andy coos as he runs his hand over my back. "I brought you some breakfast". I roll over and stretch with my eyes still clamped shut.
"What time is it?" I ask through a yawn.
"It's six thirty, you've got to get ready for school soon or your not going" he says with a grin. He would love it if I just dropped out and stayed with him all day. I don't love going to school but I know that I need to so that I can get a decent job. Plus I'm already a senior so I might as well finish off the school year.
"Come on, I've got your coffee right here" he holds the cup up for me. He knows I won't get up until my coffee is ready.
"Thank you" I smile. I sit up and glance at the tray of breakfast he has brought me. A plate of eggs and toast, as well as my cup of cinnamon coffee. And as always, a few freshly picked flowers. I take a big drink of the hot coffee, it doesn't burn my throat like it would for other people. I take a bite of my toast while I stare at Andy. I'm just admiring how sexy his tattoos are. His long hair and skinny body aren't something that I'm normally into but I can't deny the heat I feel when I look at him. He stands up to pull his jeans on and I can't help but notice how tall he is. I notice a lot of things about him now that we are dating. I never used to care that his eyes are brown when we were just friends. I'm not even sure how we ended up here. We both just happened to catch feelings at the same time. I guess it must have been fate. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason.
Once we are both dressed and I've finished my breakfast we head down stairs. Andy grabs my bookbag and throws it over his shoulder. He decided that he is walking me to school today. As much as I appreciate it I'm also a little embarrased. I don't like the way people look at us when we are together. We just seem so different that people wouldn't imagine us being in a relationship. He is a well known, out going guy that has slept with more girls than I'd like to know about. While I've always been the quiet type. I don't have any tattoos or visible piercings. And most people probably think I'm still a virgin.
I say goodbye to his mother Mickey and pull my flats on.
"Bye honey. Will you be here for dinner again tonight?" She asks sweetly.
Her asking makes me blush. It's really not a secret that I basically live here now. But I'm still not used to staying with my boyfriend, at his mother's house. It doesn't help that I'm only seventeen while he is twenty two.
"If you want me to go home I can" I tell her while I slip on my jacket.
"Oh, no. I was just making sure. Your always welcome here Ashley" Mickey says with a smile. She's always so sweet to me because she knows how happy I make Andy.
"Okay well I probably should go home sometime this week" I say while looking over at Andy. He seems irritated instantly.
"Fine but I'm going with you" he snaps. Mickey and I both roll our eyes at his reaction.
"We need to leave if I'm going to be on time" I tell Andy as I head towards the side door. He follows me outside and wraps his fingers into mine. He walks me all the way to the front door of the high school where I see a few of my friends.
"Okay babe I'll go home and get ready to go to your moms tonight" he says.
"Your not staying with me there" I say with a confused look on my face.
"Why not?" He laughes.
"Look I at least need to ask my mom first. I don't think she will like it" I tell him.
"Oh bullshit. Your mom loves me and you know it" Andy says with a smile on his face. I know he is right but I'm not sure that I want to spend every free second that I have with him. I still like to do my own things sometimes and I really haven't been without him since we got together.
