The morning light drifted in from Hannah's open window and played over her face. After a few moments she smiled and her eyes fluttered.

"Good morning", a voice murmured and she jerked wide awake to find her mother sitting beside her on the bed. She smiled and reached out her hands to her mom's blonde hair.

"Good morning, mom", she replied. "Oh mom, I had the best dream ever. There was a field of mice that scurried every where and ran into Janet's hair. Then we had to lure them out with candy from dads dessert and then grandma couldn't stop laughing as Janet screeched." Hannah shuddered.

"Oh honey, you can keep dreaming whatever you want, but you can't go around pranking the maid because she doesn't agree to help you with homework."

"Humph", Hannah said childishly and folded her hands.

"Alright sweetie, how's school going?" Her mom pulled hannah to sit. She groaned.

"Mom, today is Saturday, I'd expect you to not quiz me."

"I'm just worried." Her mom said and Hannah made a face. "Alright, we'll talk about this later".
She got up and put on the black leather jacket on Hannah's wooden desk.
"Where are you going?".

"I and your dad have a job at the hive, but we'll soon be back. There's toast in the freezer along with jam and orange juice."

Hannah nodded and hopped out of bed, walking towards the bathroom.
Her mom rushed in and softly pecked her forehead.

"And honey."
"Hmmm?" Hannah asked, looking up with a toothbrush in her mouth.
"Really try not to prank Janet."

"What exactly am I looking at?"

"Thats the connector for the Darius reactor." A female answered.
"When were this taken?" He asked staring at photographs.
"That's the target." A male voice added.

Just then Claire ran into the room, panting as she took her place beside Daniel. He was slightly annoyed with his wife but avoided showing It by turning to the pictures in his hands.

"You're going to be provided with a covert team for the ride although you're going to be left with two others for the actual mission. Go gear up" the male voice said authoritatively.

"Yes, commander Baser. When does the mission commence."
"Now." The response left the jaws of both Daniel and Claire hanging.

"This mission is very critical, agents. We have no time for warm ups. Gear up". He said and walked out of the room, the female scientist on his heels.

Daniel and Claire only stared at themselves, their jaws still on the floor.

The scientist kept yelling questions at Baser but he ignored them all. He walked into another room and watched through the one way window as Daniel and Claire walked into the room and all the other agents that were packing up weapons turned to them and stood at parade stand.

"Sir, were relying totally on this people. Do you think that they can do it?"

"They better". Baser answered, staring at Claire. "For the sake of all humanity".

The hall was full of green bodies, steaming from the heat waves continuously pouring from within. They had lost men terribly to the enemies forces. Bodies of soldiers in nether suits were stacked to knee hieght and several places were even higher.

All around blood was seeping but no one seemed to notice as they slashed swords at thier shorter foes. They had since run out of ammo.

A young male with a serrated danger turned his eyes on him and started wading through the bodies towards him, eyes blazing with hate. He held up the blody axe and growled in defiance.

He looked down at the body beside him and held back bile as the last of his bestfriends blood slowly dripped from his broken neck.

He looked back up at the teenage warrior and roared with renewed anger. They both charged at full speed, the larger non-human faster. He knew he would die today, but his enemies were coming with him.

The human flung the knife at him and it spun in the air, a flash of silver. It embedded himself in his left arm but he ignored the sudden pain and swung his axe at the boys head.

The impact gave a satisfying crunch and the boy dropped, blood spurting from the crack in his forehead. He swung again and the head burst open to reveal a concussion of bloody flesh. It made him sick but he didn't care.

The odds were stacked against him and the rest of his team.

He smashed the axe into another human that just disembodied another of his men.
It cut through the enemies spinal cord and he dropped. The soldier he saved stood for only a second more before dropping dead too. He cursed. Another dead.

He stared as the few remaining people battled out for thier lifes. They were all going to die anyways.

A silver disk fell from a fallen soldiers pocket and He picked it up. If that was going to happen he'd better make it quick.
He pressed the only button on it and watched as it lit up and began to whine.

Everybody stopped fighting at the familiar sound it created and his men began to cheer. He raised the disk in the air for everyone to see.

Then it exploded.
