"All hail the word of god!" The preacher was standing above all the rest, believing himself superior; the bruised and beaten box prevented his shoes from being sullied by the filthy refuse that stained the sharp crushed stone streets. The difficulty of the lower levels could never compare to the ease at which asphalt in the upper realms allowed one to glide across the smooth even surfaces. The crowd of desperate wretched creatures swarmed the 'man of god' as he fanatically brandished the holy book with that blasted orange stain. "He who has faith in Rumpel is a faithful believer in god! He who is a believer in god receives discounts on Rumpel products!" I spat on the ground as people scrambled for the tickets to things they can never afford. Stepping on the thrown scraps of paper and fingers, I glowered at the mob hitting and scratching for discounts on meats that normally sold for more than a month's income.

Skirting the outside of the market, I trudged down the rat infested walkway. "Sean!" I spun quickly and pushed the large man against the wall, "My name is Hex..!" I seethed the words through clenched teeth, raising my neon mask to my face. "A-ah sorry Hex!" The idiot almost fainted from the hatred I threw at him. I've learned a few tricks after becoming a Corrupter, and one of them was not to use my real name.

"Another attack, but our great leader Rumpel has seen their end." A huge blimp was broadcasting across the sky like the games of pre-war times, a professional and punchable face suddenly switched the tan man himself. "The Corrupters can do nothing against us! I mean look at me- i'm safe i'm here! we have the best mil-i-tary of the United Russia Alliance here in this great city, they will find those unimportant traitors and take them down!" "Another great speech from our fearless leader! The 10th anniversary celebration of Canadian succession to the U.R.A is scheduled in the upcoming weeks and we have no need to fear those so called Corrupters!"

As I smiled, the man walking in front of me jumped. The lasers scanning my facial contractions had output an eerie, dark smile tinted with red neon lights. The name Corrupters may not have been what we called ourselves, but we took it and made it our own. Corrupting their pure orange civilization is what we do, and we're good at it.
