“I can take care of my queen and princess,” He argued. “Either way, the calmness in this house will eventually fade.”

“Why do you say that?” I asked looking up at him.

He chuckled. “The crew is back,” He simply said. “When we are all together nothing is calm, it’s just plain drama.” He sang.

As much as I wanted to deny that, he was right. When we were all together we would just get into trouble and start drama. Maybe after these three years we changed, we could act more mature. Everyone was doing their own thing anyways. Demi and Enrique moved in together and sooner or later they would be wedding bells ringing. Control and Olive both began working already and they bought a house, and Gabriela was living by herself, but the last time we spoke she was seeing a guy from school. I was the only one was doing the same, and it would probably stay like that for a while.

“You don’t make me feel any better.” I rouse an eyebrow at him.

He smiled cheerfully. “Than my job here is done!” He let go of me and he walked down the stairs.

Jerk.

I went inside my master bedroom; Linda had said the house had three master bedrooms, and two guests’ rooms. She had arranged for me to get the second biggest room in the house, just so I could feel more comfortable. The room was pretty big, it had a bathroom with a walk in closest, there was a king size bed in the middle, and she had painted the walls a light cream color.

Linda had gone shopping and bought me a new set of sheets for my bed, and she had left a welcome home gift. It was a brand new plasma television, I groan quietly. She knew I didn’t like it when she spoiled me. Linda was acted like my mother, ever since I came back from Spain, she and I became closer. She was always on my side even if I was wrong.

I unpacked placing my clothes in the closest, and some in the drawers. At the bottom of the cardboard box there was a picture of Ale and Mindy at her wedding. It had been so long since I had visited her grave, I wondered if she would be happy how everything turned out. I never actually gave up on her promise, and I wasn’t planning to break it anytime soon. I placed her picture on my nightstand, smiling at it.

After I was done unpacking I went downstairs only to fine Linda and Xavier hardcore making out on the couch. I twisted my mouth in agony, and the torture began. Xavier looked up at me smiling evilly, he was just doing this on purpose.

“You’ll get used to it.” He confessed.

I blinked a couple of times. “I don’t think I will. I’m going out okay that should give you two enough time to do whatever you have to.” I quickly said grabbing my keys and purse from the counter.

“I’m sorry.” Linda screamed at me.

“It’s fine!” I shouted back, closing the door behind me.

It took me awhile to decide where I wanted to go, but I decided to take a trip the shopping center. I needed to buy food for us, knowing Linda the cabinets would be full of food, but I was craving ice-cream and strawberries.

I was walking down the frozen dairy section looking for the Ben&Jerry’s ice cream section, when I slammed my body against a pole. I landed on my butt with a thud; I groaned cursing quietly to myself.

“Damn, Julie are you okay?” I heard a similar voice.

I looked up to see Alejandro hovering over me. He helped me get up from the ground, he was carrying a basket in his arm, and it was filled with wine and beer. He and Arianna must be having a “romantic” night, just thinking about made my stomach twist in disgust.
