"The bus leaves from here at 6am on Sunday, don't be late!" Joe says, as we all exit the huddle.

Leah's arm stays around my waist, and before I know it she pulls me in for a tight hug. I can't complain about it, I like her touch. But eventually I run out of air.

"Leah..., can you... please let go..., I can't... breath." I barely let out.

"Oh, I'm sorry Jord!" She says when she realizes how tight she actually hugs me. "Maybe I got a little too excited!" She continues as she gives me a wink and finally let go of me.

Leah's POV:

I can't believe it's actually happening, on Sunday I'm making my senior debut! I think I just freaked out a bit earlier today when I heard the team news, I mean I nearly hugged the death out of Jordan. Now, a few hours later, I've calmed down. I'm sitting next to Jordan and Dan on our couch, relaxing as we're watching football on tv. It's nice to have them around, right now I enjoy their company more than ever.

~SUNDAY~

Dan, Jordan and I were the first ones to arrive at Meadow Park. The clock is now quarter to six, which means that the bus leaves in fifteen minutes. Most of the girls shows up about ten minutes later, and as soon as everyone's in we're ready to go. Me and Jordan are sitting next to each other, with Daan and Beth on the other side of the table seats. It's going to be a long day, just the bus journey itself will take about ten hours back and fourth, and then the game will take some time to play as well... We won't be back home before late tonight, that's for sure.

I get interrupted from my thoughts when I suddenly feel someone leaning against my shoulder. I turn my head to see Jordan's head on my right shoulder. She seems to have fallen asleep already, as you can hear her heavy breathing. A small smile grows on my face when I think about how cute she looks when she's asleep.

The hours went by faster than I could've imagined beforehand. I must have fallen asleep as well, because the next thing I know, someone's calling my name.

"Leah, wake up, we're almost there!" I barely recognize her voice, but then I figure out it must have been Beth's voice I heard. I slowly open my eyes, to see Beth's clear blue eyes staring right at me. She just stands there looking at me with a playful smirk. Why is she looking at me like that? Have I done something wrong? As I keep questioning myself, I think I've realized what she's going about. My head is resting in Jordan's lap, as I'm holding one of her arms in mine. God, I must've cuddled with her arm whilst I slept. But how on earth did I end up with my head on her lap? I don't even remember falling asleep. I look up at Jordan to see that she's awake. I prepare myself for the worst, I mean it can't get more embarrassing than an awkward silence, can it? So when Jordan actually starts to talk, I get a little surprised by her reaction. Instead of that awkward silence I feared, she calmly says "Morning sleepyhead, I thought you would never wake up!". I'm not sure how to answer that, so I just let out a nervous laugh, while looking at Beth and Daan.

Jordan's POV:

I've been awake for the last two hours of the bus journey to Liverpool. When I woke up, I saw Leah sleeping on my lap, using it as a pillow. I don't mind about that, but what I do think were a little special was the fact that she cuddled with my arm in hers. It was a little cute, I have to admit that. But at the same time it was kinda weird, who even sleep like that? Now when she's awake, I try my best not to make the situation awkward. Beth just woke her up. I look at Daan, but just as she opens her mouth to say something, we pull up outside the stadium. Phew, I'm lucky that she doesn't have time to say what she was about to say. You never know what Danielle van de Donk is up to, neither Beth to be honest. As soon as the doors open, the chaotic couple leave the bus, closely followed by me and Leah.
