Fresh from a divorce from Plastic Surgeon Mark Sloan, Sky Rivers finds a new start at Seattle Grace Memorial Hospital. But the past eventually catches up.

Weiss: "We had a future. You know, we had plans. We picked out baby names together. She betrayed that without even asking my opinion. Without even giving me time to process it." Sky: "It's a difficult time for both of you. She's emotional." Weiss: "And hormone changes, mood swings. They say she could lose her sex drive." Derek: "You'll get through this. All right? You can do this. You guys love each other." he says sitting next to him Weiss: "Is that what you said about you and Addy?" Derek: "What?" Weiss: "You left her." Derek: "That was different." Weiss: "Was it, Derek? Really?" he says as a tension fills the space making Sky purse her lips Sky: "You know, I got to check on a patient, then get ready for dinner." Derek: "I gotta go too. See you later." he says following after Sky Weiss: "Sure."

Derek: "Well, this is fun. Again. I like the Hello Kitty, by the way. Very pink. Very cheerful." he says as him and Sky enter the elevator to see Meredith and George George: "Daisy works in Billing. Which is where?" he speaks up after a moment of silence Meredith and Derek: "In the basement." they say together as George make a weird noise making all three turn to look at him

Sky: "Hey." she says coming into the room where she sees Sav putting lipstick on and brushing her hair Sav: "Hey. How do I look?" she asks doing a little spin Sky: "You're a beautiful woman. Always have been." Sav: "And so are you. Thank you by the way. I know being a fifth wheel won't exactly be fun." Sky: "Well you're one of my good friends so it's no biggie." Sav: "This is hard for you to understand isn't it?" she says turning to the mirror to brush her hair "Ugh. Menopause. I know. The boobs. But they have hormone replacement, reconstructions. But the sexy Savvy, the Savvy that gets noticed when she walks into the room. The Savvy that wakes her husband up in the middle of the night to make love. Yeah, I wonder if that Savvy is still going to be there. Honestly, I haven't a clue. But then I think, is that why Weiss married me? God, I hope not." Sky: "I just want you to be absolutely sure about this. I don't want you to one day wake up and realize that you made a mistake." Sav: "I won't. I thought long and hard and I want this." she says smiling at her as Sky gives her a small one in return Sky: "I gotta go get ready. See you in a few."

Sav: "When Addy told me she was coming here, I had such a good feeling. You guys are going to make it. You were always meant to be." Weiss: "A couple of clams on the half shell. Couple of peas in the pod." Derek: "We're working on the pod part." Addison: "It's about choices." Sav: "Well, here's to taking life in your own hands." Addison: "Cheers." Sky: "Cheers." she says as they all clink their cups Weiss: "Yeah. And here's to bull. And here's to crap" he says making the others look at him awkwardly "And here's to oophorectomy, hysterectomy, double bilateral mastectomy." Sav: "Please. Stop." Weiss: "How smart am I to know those words?" Sav: "Stop." Weiss: "Here's to breast reconstruction, nipple reconstruction. Here's to losing your wife. Here's to being the ass who can't be supportive. Here's to that." he says downing his drink before getting up as Derek follows him

Addison: "Hold still." she says taking a picture of Sav's chest the next day as the three women giggle Sav: "Come on, make sure you get both sides. You know these are going to be next year's holiday cards. I want them to be immortalized before they're gone. And this way, Weiss gets to look at them whenever he wants." she says as Sky holds the camera up in Addison's hand and snaps a close up of her chest Sky: "These are going to be great." Sav: "We're scheduled to go in at eight?" she asks looking at the clock on the wall Addison: "Yeah. I'm taking you down to the pre-op in just a few minutes." Sav: "Weiss will show up, Addy, he always does." Addison: "Sav, as your doctor you know I'm 100% on your side. But as your friend, are you absolutely sure about this?" Sav: "I know what I'm losing. I get it. But think about what I'm gaining. My life. This gives me a shot. A shot at the future. A shot at me and Weiss becoming this crazy old wrinkled couple that argues all the time. I mean, wouldn't you want that? A chance to grow old with Derek?" Addison: "Yeah. Yeah, I do." Sav: "Oh, God." she says as tears gather in her eyes Sky: "Oh, Sav." she says as Addison and her pull the woman into their arms as they hug each other

Derek: "Hey." he says walking into the OR as they prep for Sav's surgery Sav: "He's not coming, is he?" she asks as Derek smirks at her before turning his body to the side as Weiss walks in Weiss: "You're shaking." Sav: "You're here." she cries out in happiness Addison: "I'm going to get started now. Are you ready?" Sav: "Yeah. Ready."

After Sav's surgery Sky goes to the attendings lounge to change her clothes when Addison walks into the room
Addison: "Hey. So uh do you want to maybe get a cup of coffee or something? We could get it before work tomorrow or whenever." Sky: "Why would we do that?" Addison: "I just thought...I mean after today-" Sky: "It didn't mean anything. You said for our friend that we should get along and that's what I did." she says going to walk out the room when Addison's voice stops her Addison: "Sky come on. I'm trying here. Just please tell me what I need to do to get you to forgive me." Sky: "That life Sav was talking about. Growing old with Weiss...that's the life I wanted with Mark. To grow old with him and have kids and grandkids...you and Derek being the godparents. I wanted that life...and you took it away. So...there's nothing you can really do Addison. Unless you have a time machine." she says walking out the room as Addison watches her sadly
