Morning sunshine came into my room and then I realised that I haven't slept all night.

Great.

I'm gonna look like zombie. Well then people might find me scary and won't even try to talk to me.

I smiled at that thought. That would be nice. I'm not really people person. I like to be left alone with my thoughts.

"Good morning baby!" My mom chimed as she came into my room.

"Ah come on mom, just let me sleep." I groaned and tucked my head in my pillow.

"No more sleeping for you. You have to get ready. It's the big day today." She said pulling my hair of my face

"You know honey, whatever happens today I want you to chose wisely. I want you to know where you belong." She continued

"Right.." I said awkwardly

"Right." She repeated, smiled at me warmly at left my room.

I sometimes don't understand her at all.

Now she seems like loving and caring mother, but yesterday I belive that internally she wanted to bite my head off for speaking to her rudely.

Well I guess that's what you get with mother leader of entire faction. Yes, Jeannine is my mother.

She figured out when I was really young that I'm somewhat different from other children, but I wasn't Divergent. I was something in between. She teached me how to hide that, and nobody knows about it. Not even my dad, or Lukas.

I wanted to get out of here. I wanted to be free, to jump in and out of the moving train. I wanted to be fearless. Not to care about anyone's opinion. That means Dauntless.

My family would never support me if I chose Dauntless, that's the thing.

Well too bad for them.

I'm not gonna spend my entire life studying and learning some stupid things that I'll never use. I have never fitted into Erudite anyway. I am smart, yeah, but I was always taller than the others. Always wilder and unruly. Thirsting for any sort of action.

I shake my head to clear my thoughts, and head downstairs to my family.

"So, what are we going to do if she doesn't chose Erudite?" My dad spoke quietly

"She's not going to chose Erudite, and we know that. She's an adult. I want her to be happy with her decision."Said my mom firmly

"Good morning." I interrupted them as I walked into the kitchen

"Good morning to you too sweety." Answered my father

"When are we going to go?" I asked my mom while grabbing a donut from the table.

"We have to be there in half an hour so we better get going in 15 minutes." She said

"Do you have something on your mind what you want to say?" My dad asked her.

" Every single word." She answered proudly

My mom is going to give the speech this year on the Choosing Ceremony.

When we got to the hub and eneterd the big C.C room my nerves were getting the best of me. My palms began to sweat and my thoughts were all over the place.

We seat down in the front row, and shortly after the Ceremony began.

"Today is the great day. The big day. Today, our seventeen-year-olds are no longer children. They are adults, able to deside their destiny." My mom said loudly. She was always good when it comes to this public things. The last thing I heard she said was:"Future belongs to those who know where they belong. "
