England and France are at war. The small town of Caen, France is constantly under attack due to it being right on the English Channel.
Joli Jourdan lives here, in Caen. She is poor, even though her father is a general. She constantly lives in fear of being killed by an English soldier.
The king, Diable Tyran, is the lunatic who started the war. He states he will win this no matter what, even if he has to split the Earth down the middle to do so.
Today is one of many days that the English attack. Joli Jourdan is out with her father trying to clear everyone out of the streets as fast as possible. and you? where are you during this time of panic?
