DING!!!
The elevator doors opened. You and Luigi looked around and stepped out of the elevator.
You looked around and saw something unusual on the floor. You gasped and grabbed Luigi from behind. Luigi looked at you in confusion.
Luigi: Why'd you do that?
Y/N: I'm not sure. Just... something about the floor makes me uncomfortable.
You looked to your side and saw a little rock. You threw it on the floor and arrows shot off.
Luigi: Whoa! What the?!--
Y/N: As I thought... Egyptian subterfuges. This must be the Egyptian level of the hotel.
You put your flashlight on the Poltergust and started walking around it. You looked back at Luigi, who was still on the other side.
Y/N: It's ok, Luigi. Just walk around it.
Luigi clenched his flashlight and nodded, shaking. Luigi started walking slowly, walking around the trap. He reached the other side and smiled at you. You smiled back at him. You and Luigi grabbed each other's hands and continued walking forward.
Luigi and you walked through a hallway. Tapestries of you, Luigi, Mario, Peach, and the Toads are on the wall. Luigi let go of your hand and stopped in front at the Mario tapestry. You looked behind you and saw Luigi, tearing up. Luigi dropped to his knees and began crying.
You walked over to him and knelt beside him. You rose his head to look at you. Luigi looked at you with tears in his eyes. Luigi hugged you and you hugged him back.
Y/N: Shh, shh. There, there, Luigi.
Luigi continued crying on your shoulder.
Y/N:

You picked up Luigi off the ground and smiled at him, still holding his hands.
