Overheard...- Part 11

I didn't want Dream to starve so I go up to knock on his door to see if he wanted something to eat. When I get to his door I hear mumbling.

Me, being very curious, I listen in to what he was saying. I couldn't really hear him until he said he would kill himself.

I teared up. I don't want Dream to die! My dad is already at deaths door I don't want Dream to leave me too.

I whispered his name and he unlocked the door quickly opening it to a jar. I could see his disappointed face.

Why did he seem disappointed.. before I can think anymore he pulled me and hugged me. I hugged him back. I wish I would stay like this forever.

"Clay.. What where you talking about..?"

"..." No response.. why? He knew what he was on about. It made me angry yet more upset.

"D-don't cry. I'm bad at making people stop crying" He says. I chuckle. He is so warm.

Theres there's silence until I say

"I don't want to lose you too..."

"Too?" He let's go of me and I sit on his bed with him.

"My dad... has just recently got the Coronavirus.." I wasnt really expecting to tell him now but it's better just to let it out I guess.

"Will you go back to France to see him...?" After he says that silence falls. I don't want to say yes. But I cant lie and say no. I want to stay with Clay.

After awhile I say "My family is expecting me to see my dad."

"How long until you have to go"

"2 days.."

"How long are you staying there?"

"I dont know.." My family are quite manipulative so they will probably make me stay awhile..

"Maybe it's for the best you stay back there.."

"What..?"

"Well you know, France is where you grew up and you know the place well and also your first language is french so you belong there.. You will also be safe"

"Let the accident go Clay. Please. I'm not mad at you for it. It was an accident and I'm fine."

"I know! I just cant shake it off.. I hit you with a goddamn car!"

"I'm better now though."

"That doesnt defeat the point I hit you with a car"

"Then what will defeat the point?"

"Oh my god- oKAy do u want anything to eat"

";( I guess I'll have something. Make me whatever I dont care"

"Alright." I get up and leave the room. What a strange conversation @~@
