"I'd rather die!"

Without thinking you and Bellatrix both shot Reducto turning him into dust. Tom pulled your arm down and asked you why you did that, Sirius rolled his eyes as Regulus and Narcissa pulled Bellatrix back.

"Well good fucking job!" Sirius yelled at you two,

"You killed him!" Peter shouted looking angry which was a knew thing.

"Doesn't matter, we got what we needed!" You sneered

"No! What you both fucking forgot that we are wanted!" Peter yelled throwing a plate at the wall.

"You don't think! Your lives aren't the only ones on the line! Tom's life was in danger so we helped him, yours was so we helped you. Now all of ours are but only Tom is being humble and using his brain. You and Bellatrix are being so incredibly selfish! Grow the fuck up!"

Peter's yelling and expressive anger shook everyone to the core, he had always been quiet and shy, never brave enough to yell or show his emotions other than happiness. He put you and Bellatrix in your places.

"I'm sorry," you said feeling guilty

"Same, we just got carried away." Bellatrix added.

"Well don't, what happened happened. We can't do anything now. But we can take action now, James life is in trouble, we should pack and head to Vancouver. Then we can hike and try and figure out where the trees are." Remus said

"But what if we don't find them?" Lily asked

"Then we keep going!"

Remus waited for an answer, after more conversation everyone agreed including you. From there you all packed, Peter wouldn't talk to Bellatrix which shocked her. She never really thought she'd want his attention, or to hang around him. It was out of character, however you just assumed she was being attention seeking. Tom was still a little upset at you but he just put it aside. Regulus on the other hand seemed worried, he pulled you aside and explained what was running through his head.

"What if I lead them here?" He asked frantic

"You didn't, and even if you did at least your safe now." You tried to reassure him however he just looked at the ground and shook his head.

You went to speak again but he walked away, after everyone continued packing, you all got ready to apparate until Remus stopped you all.

"Is there anything dangers we might face in those woods?"

"We won't know till we get there!" Lily said sternly.

She circled you around and hurried you all up, before you realized she had apparated you all out of there. The feeling was disgusting, your ears felt like they were going to pop, your arms twisting around, stomach churning, eye balls swelling. Suddenly it stopped, Narcissa gasped for air, Remus and Sirius held Regulus up as he nearly fell back, Peter was held up by Bellatrix who he quickly flinched out of her grip as he was still angry. Tom grabbed onto you nearly vomiting,

"You ok love?" You asked coughing

"I hate that feeling," he sighed finally standing up.

"Move now!" Lily yelled

You all thought she was just eager to find James but in reality they had apparated infront of 5 people driving their snowmobiles really fast. You'd never seen them before at all, it was so captivating till Lily scolded you all for not being careful enough.

After a few hours in the woods you all found yourselves face to face with a bogart. It was in the form of a rotting dead body before looking at Regulus and turning into his mother, but it again changed into their father after looking at Sirius. But again Tom stood in the way and it changed once more. What it turned into shocked everyone, they didn't expect to this, they were surprised even Lily stopped in her tracks when she wasn't stopping for any interruptions. It was himself but older, snake like with the body of his mother laying on the ground.. That was Tom's bogart.

"Incendio!" Narcissa yelled burning it and causing it to continuously change shape,

"Flipendo!" Remus shot,

"Reducto," you shot finally turning it to ashes

No one moved as Tom stood their in shock, even though he should've known his fear. Lily grabbed his shoulder for reassurance.

"You ok?" She asked sweetly

Tom took a deep breath before nodding slowly coming to terms with what happened. You opened your arms and he fell into them, his breath shaking with shock. After he had calmed down you all continued. The woods were cold and harsh. You all staggered behind a determined Lily when finally you found the trees with ribbons however something seemed off and Lily picked up on this.

"Revelio," she said waving her wand carefully.

Suddenly an old building appeared, trunks attempting to hide it. The vines wrapped around it like tattoos as if trying to hide the blandness of the old building. Tom seemed hesitant to move any further as everyone went to examine the building. It was a house, a small house however there were screams of pain filling the whole woods. It was James, Lily was about to run in and scream until you held her back and covered her mouth.

"They don't know we're here yet, we have the advantage, we can't lose that." You whispered in her ear,

She stopped struggling and reluctantly agreed.

"We should just burst in and fuck everything up." Bellatrix said sternly

"No, we should draw them out so James is less likely to get killed. Then one of us can sneak through a window or something and get James," You tried to explain.

"We can't apparate out of there though,"  Narcissa added,

"We could still have two people sneak through a window, disarm anyone hurting James and the others can deal with the rest. It's a safe option,"

After some discussion everyone except Tom agreed, ignoring Tom, you all decided that Lily would be accompanied by you to sneak through the window. Tom just stood there rereading a sign on the household, you were all frustrated with why he was being so silent.

"What are you looking at!?" Sirius groaned at him angrily.

Tom merely pointed at the words, on the side of the house in clean, curled letters wrote.

House of Gaunt

No one understood until you remembered the photo Tom had shown you in that little hut, the photo of his mother had small writing at the bottom bearing the name,
Merope Gaunt.

You looked at Tom who looked like he was on the verge of crying or the verge of screaming intensely.

"Tom?" You said walking towards him,

"I'm fine, I'm fine, perfectly. Let's just hope that asshole Marvolo isn't here," he said coldly smiling.

"Whose Marvolo?" Peter tried whispering to Remus

"Marvolo is my god forsaken grandfather. And Gaunt, well that's my family." Tom again said in a cold manner

Everyone went quiet, you grabbed his hand but unfortunately he pulled his hand out of your grip,

"Let's get this over and done with and get James out of there." He sighed,
