"Moon, nice to meet you. You have a lovely name" I say honestly as I shake her hand
"Thank you, coolest American word I found when I moved to the states, so just kept it as mine.." she swigs a chug of her beer
"Me and my friends are at the other end of the dance floor, want to join us?" I say a little louder with the sound of blaring music in the background
"Maybe later I have a cute boy, waiting for me at the dance floor but hey Moon, nice to meet you!" She says as she starts disappearing through the crowd on the dance floor
"Hey guys, I'm back with some beer... I just met the coolest chick out there, she seemed kind of new to the states though... first round was on her actually.." I say as I place the beers in the middle of the table
"Really? You should have brought her over!" Ells says as she waves her arms in the air
"What was her name?"
"Ohhh uhh she actually had a really cool name, Enigma..."
"Hmmm well maybe we can meet her later than, for now how about we get to the dance floor?" Nicks says giddily as her and Ells start making their way out there
"Is this just a salsa place?" Nicks asks as a sweet and sultry melody fills our ears
"I think that's just the name but it plays a little bit of every Spanish genre" I respond back
Third person POV
"Si te invito a una copa
Y me acerco a tu boca
Si te robo un besito
A ver, ¿te enojas conmigo?"
Soon and surely the fiery atmosphere filled with sweaty and dancing bodies molded into one as they swayed their hips back and forth
The guitar strings melting the atmosphere around them as they let loose
"5 o clock Ells cute guy keep staring at you like your the only girl in this room!" Moon winks at her friend enthusiastically
"Me? Why would he even? I can't even dance?" She says an exasperated and blushing mess
"First of all Ells your freaking gorgeous sweetie, so stop being such a fool, enjoy the night and have fun your just dancing with a cute guy sis... GO!" Nicky pushes her encouragingly
"Yeah Ells go have fun we'll be here and plus you can just text us if you want us to bail you out at any time.."
"Okay, okay you guys are right. Be right back..." she say surely almost as if she's on a mission she won't back away from
"Hey pretty girl, want to dance?" A deep and husky voice whispers in her ear "I'm Tae, what's your name?"
"I'm Ella, let's dance? Just excuse my stumbling feet I don't really know how to dance this.." she says as she looks around the atmosphere
