“Ah, so you’re in some need of girl talk.”

I nodded my head.

He smiled. “Well I am at your service.”

Grabbing Nathan’s hand, I led him towards my cabin eagerly. We neared the small but cozy room in a matter of seconds, and I pushed open the door. “Welcome, welcome,” I said waving my hand towards the very messy room.

“It’s so cute!” he said happily running over and jumping onto my bed. “But in need of a little cleaning.”

I nodded my head in agreement to the very obvious problem. I was such a slob. Sighing, I joined Nathan on the bed resting my head on his chest.

“You know that one movie you like where that chick Sabrina falls in love with her sister’s boyfriend, except he’s way too old for her and it’s obvious they can’t be together but they just really love each other?” I questioned having to take a huge breath of air afterwards.

Nathan looked at me skeptically before shrugging his shoulders. “Yeah, I think I know what you’re talking about, but why?”

I thought about Owen, and how my story sort of related to the movie. I mean, he was older than me, and we did really like each other. “Do you think the girl was stupid for liking him and running away together in the end? I mean, what would you do?”

“Well, I mean, it was a little foolish to run away. But, if they like each other they should give it a go right?” he answered right away.

I nodded my head but couldn’t look Nathan in the eyes. I mean, when he found out about Owen he would probably think I was just down right crazy.

Maybe I am crazy…

I did climb an obstacle course without ropes.

And jump off a cliff.

And kiss a twenty three year old.

“What’s going through that pretty little head of yours Mia? I can practically hear you thinking.”

I turned to face Nathan with a small frown. “I’m so stupid. I mean, how could I kiss him?”

My best friends eyes lit up at the mention of a kiss and he sat up immediately. I could see the joy in his face. “Cute? Sexy? Hair color? Age, tell me everything!”

Giggling I rolled over onto my stomach. Nathan grabbed my side and quickly pulled me back over to face him. “Tell me!” he whined.

Realizing that telling Nathan would help, I sat up straight and took a big breath. “I might have kissed another camp counselor. Well, he’s the cook. And he happens to be twenty three.”

I said everything in a rush, but Nathan’s ears managed to pick up every word perfectly. “YOU DID WHAT?”

I jumped over to his side and clasped my hand over his mouth tightly. “Don’t be so loud, gosh we don’t want the whole campsite to know I’m kissing the cook!”

Nathan for some reason looked very happy. “I’m sorry, I just never though, you Mia Fray would, well, even date again. After that jerk Co-“

“Don’t say his name,” I warned angrily. Nathan knew I hated when he brought up my ex.

Realizing the harsh edge in my tone, I squeezed his hands. “Look, Cole was a mistake, and I know you think I’m not over him and I never will be, but I have been. He really did hurt me, but it’s over and I moved on. I moved on a long time ago.”

Nathan nodded his head understanding my feelings. Although he was being quite quiet, I could tell he wanted to burst from the news I gave him. After a couple seconds of torcher, I finally gave in. “Okay, so what do want to know?”

He jumped off the bed with excitement and clapped. “What’s his hair color? Is he cute, or hot? Is he a good kisser, and when did the first kiss happen, oh and w-“

“Hold on their cowboy, one question at a time,” I cut in ending his excitement.

“Hair color,” he demanded.

“Black.”

“Tall or short?”

“On the taller side, but no too tall.”

“Cute, or hot?”

I felt my face grow warm while I answered. “Definitely hot.”

Nathan smiled at me. “So, how did the first kiss happen? Was it romantic?”

I thought back to our little adventure. The night had been perfect, and the water just the right temperature. I guess you could say it was romantic, but spontaneous as well. I mean, I would never have thought I would be going cliff diving.

“Oh come on tell me,” the blonde in front of me begged.

“Well, it was pretty romantic. Owen, that’s his name, brought me to this really secluded part of the lake. It was like a mini rock cliff. So, we took a dip. And well, things just happened.”

Nathan was just about to ask more when someone banged on my cabin door. We both looked in the direction before I hopped off the bed and went to see who it was.

“Hey Mia,” Gavin said a huge smile on his face once I opened the door.

I returned the smile. “Hey what’s up?”

He looked over to the soccer field and then back at me. “We wanted to know if you wanted to play soccer. Me and a couple other guys are playing a game.”

Before I could get an answer out, Nathan was by my side smiling. “I love soccer, come on Mia let’s play!”

Gavin seemed shocked by the unfamiliar guy in my room, and I could tell he seemed a little mad. “Oh Gavin, this is Nathan my friend from home I told you about.”

Nathan extended his hand towards Gavin and they did that whole guy hand shake. “Nice to meet you man,” Gavin said pulling away.

I could already tell by the look on Nathan’s face that he thought Gavin was cute. I mean, Gavin is cute, way cute.

“Nice to meet you too,” Nathan chirped back a little blush forming on his cheeks.

“So soccer, sounds fun but I’ll just watch,” I finally said looking back out to the field of shirtless guys.

Although it would be tempting to play a game with a bunch of shirtless sexy guys, I would rather watch. More enjoyment for me.

Nathan shrugged his shoulders. “Whatever you say.”

We all headed down the stairs and towards the soccer field. Gavin swung his arm over my shoulder on the way there, and I gladly leaned against his side. “Mia, I have a question and I don’t want you to get mad,” he whispered into my ear quietly.

I looked up at him ready to hear his question. “Is Nathan gay? I mean, its fine with me I was just wondering.”

Smiling, I looked over to my best friend who was gawking at all the hotties on the field. “Is it that obvious?”

He shrugged his shoulders. “I’m just good at reading people.”

“Really, what am I thinking right now?” I looked into his eyes mysteriously before giggling.

Well,” he said looking over to the field. “You’re thinking about how wonderful it is going to be to watch me all shirtless and sweaty on that field. I mean, who can resist this?”

Although I knew he was joking, I still blushed a little because it was true. “Oh shut up and get out there hot shot. And watch out for Nathan, I love that kid!”

Gavin sent a wink my way before running off to his teammates. Well, this was a great start to my day.

Sorry this is so late, but I hope you all liked it. Vote:D
