Oikawa x Reader: Lock The Doors

Toru Oikawa x Reader

"GYAH!" Oikawa sprung out of his blanket as he heard the loud sound of the thunder. Oikawa was one of the few people who woke up because of the sound.

He picked up his phone and checked the time, "2:23AM?" He exclaimed in his head, "I wonder if Y/N woke up because of that thunder as well."

~Meanwhile at your place~

"2:23, 2:23, 2:23..." You muttered to yourself, "it's ok Y/N, ghosts don't exist, they won't haunt you." You had a fear of ghosts, and Oikawa would tease you about that. He'd randomly knock at your door in the middle of the night (you two live near each other), he'd tell you scary 'real' stories (even though it's obvious that he's making it up, it'd still haunt you), he has his many ways to scare you.

"Should I text him?" You asked yourself, "no, he might just tease me, or even worse, scare me!" You wondered. "But I'm so scared right now, what if, what if..." You stopped as you heard another loud thunder. "WAHHHHH!!! O-OIKAWAAA!!!" You exclaimed.

~Meanwhile at Oikawa's place~
• • •

"WAHHHHH!!! O-OIKAWAAA!!!" A soft, yet so audible voice exclaimed. "Pffft..." Oikawa chuckled, "she's so cute." "But our neighbors might think that's something else, I'm not complaining though."

He squeezed his pillow in his arms, not knowing where else he could put his aggression. "How did I get someone like you..." He wondered as he wrapped his legs around the pillow. "Why are you so cute, it makes me feel a bit-"

*ringgggg*

"I knew you were gonna call me, " he said as he picked up the call.

The conversation:

"Y/N~" he replied with a sweet voice
"I'm so scared, Oika-"
"Call me Toru for now..."
"T-Toru, I'm so scared"
"..."
"Toru?"
"..."
"T-Toru-san?"
"..."
"Hey, please don't scare me now, especially that I'm alon-"

*Beeeeep*

'Oikawa? Oikawa-san? Why are you doing this to me? Don't scare me now,' you said in your head. "I guess I have no choice, I mean it's not the only choice I have, but I just want to," you said, picking up your umbrella and wearing your raincoat (you didn't want to change from your comfortable pjs). "Now all I have to do is pass by the dark hallway and get to the door," you said to yourself, staring into the dark corridor. It took you some time before you actually started walking toward the front door. "Why are you so scared Y/N, Oikawa told you this already before, you have to face your fears," you muttered to yourself before you another loud thunder, this time fear wasn't the only feeling you felt, but also irritation (and more on this part). "WHY DO THUNDERS HAVE TO BE SO LOUD? LIGHTNINGS ARE SO SILENT YET THEY'RE SO MUCH COOLER THAN THOSE IRRITATING LOUD NOI-" you stopped as you heard your front door open.

'Huh? Isn't it supposed to be locked?' You asked yourself in the head. You sometimes forget to lock your doors, you know it's a bad thing but you still keep on doing it. You turned around just to see it close back up. "O-Oikawa, y-you shouldn't be messing around n-now," you said in a quite loud voice. The door opened again, you saw a silhouette of a man with a hood, holding something. You didn't want to think whether it's your boyfriend or not, you just ran up your room just in case it was an intruder of some sort.

You locked your door and texted Oikawa.

The conversation:

-Oikawa was that you on the front door?

-Hm? What are you talking about Y/N-chan? Why would I be?

Then you heard multiple slow, yet loud knocks on your door

-Y/N-CHAN DID YOU FORGET TO LOCK YOUR DOOR AGAIN?

-Well, yes, AND NOW I'M HEARING KNOCKS ON MY DOOR

-Y/N calm down please, don't make any noises, I'll try to call 911

After reading that message the knocks went faster, then stopped. Then the sound of a key being put in the knob. 'OH NO!' you exclaimed in your head, quietly running toward your closet. Before you reached your closet the door opened.

You stopped knowing that you had to accept your fate. 'Well, I guess this is the end of me,' you said in your head, chuckling.

You felt a pair of hands on your shoulders, you screamed but then the person covered your mouth.

"Y/N-chan," a familiar, sweet voice said. The person removed his hand from your mouth and hugged you. "Oikawa, you shouldn't be scaring me like that," you said, tears welling up from your eyes, you hugged him back.

"I'm so sorry Y/N-chan, I went a bit too far there," he chuckled, then you hit his shoulder, "GYAH!" he exclaimed, "that hurt, Y/N-chan," he said, "serves you right," you hmphed.

Oikawa changed to his hoodie and sweatpants you kept in your closet (you actually have a lot of his clothes) because he was drenched in the rain.

The two of you went to bed, hugging you from the back, he said, "good night Y/N-chan, I'm really sorry if I went too far, I love you," "I love you too," you replied. And the both of you eventually went to sleep.

Note: Don't worry, all the doors are locked, he locked them when he entered the house

This is my first fanfic so I'm really sorry if it's a bit weird, or if it's not good enough. But I still hope you like it, I'm gonna improve my writing skills.
