Chapter 2 Evan Ashford

"We can run away together Jasmin" I say standing together with the girl I thought I would spend the rest of my life with.

She turns away from me her beautiful red hair moving with her. "Bae you know I can't my dad will kill me" she says not looking at me "and you know that we can't be seen together".

"Why do you do that. I love you and you love me" I say trying to hug her but she walks away from me "I said no Evan"!

"What the fuck do you want"? I yell waking up with a killer hangover. "Your drinking again" say my twin brother Adam "get up your late for work again."

Rolling out of bed I do my morning routine and head out of the my penthouse with Adam following behind me.

"I can't believe you went to a bar after work and got piss drunk. Are you dumb or what?" I ignore him and keep walking. I think back to the dark hair, brown eyed, Hispanic girl i greeted yesterday. She's the reason why I wanted to get drunk last night the feeling she gave me pissed me off. So I wanted to get ride of the feeling.

Before I could think I asked Adam "has your wife ever talk about a girl name Edith Santana" I turn to look at him "I think she said something about Jackie having a cousin stay with her yesterday. Why?"

"No reason yesterday I met her that's it."

We get to the office and I continue my work from yesterday not stopping except for when a a dark hair girl comes to mind.

10 minutes before work end Adam comes into my office "don't think your going to a bar your coming home with me" I sign and rub my face. "Calm down Adam I'm not going to any bar I'm going home to sleep" I get up and ready to leave but Adam grabs my arm "Evan, you have to get over her". That instantly pisses me off "don't worry about me go home to your happy family" I say pulling my arm from his grip.

I storm off walking home but half way there I turn around and go to the closes bar.

A 2 hours later I'm numb all over with no feeling or thought. I find the close girl to me which happens to be a tall, sexy, blond. A few minutes into talking I start make out with her in the middle of the bar. I could feel everyone staring but I didn't care.

"What the fuck Tiffany"! Someone yells but I ignore it and continue making out. But then someone grabs my arm and pulls me back punching me in face. The hit knocks me to the floor so I get on my feet quick and punch the guy back but before I can hit him again two guys grab my arms and the guy starts hitting me again.

I know I'm look a mess after this. He doesn't stop hitting me till the bartender yells out "get out of my bar before I call the cops"! They let go and ran out. "Fucken asswhole couldn't even fight by himself" I mumble getting up and stumble out of the bar. Pulling out my phone I message a Uber but couldn't find one so I walk to the closes house I could think of.

I'm almost there when the urge to puck hits so I run to the closes bush which happens to be Jose's condo. I'm sure he won't care he doesn't even stay here anymore. Ok Evan you have two more house to go. I remind myself

I'm about to get up when the light turn on to the front door. I guess Jose is here. "Sorry, man I'm trying to get to my condo" I say waving at him. "Oh my gosh, Evan" says scared female voice. I turn around remembering that voice.

"Your bleeding Evan" she say walking up to me "no, I'm fine" I say turning away from her "are...you drunk" I don't know what it is about her but I don't want her to see me like this.

"Evan, you..don't look good" she says getting nervous. I try to stand up straight but I instantly regret it because I start feeling dizzy.

I feel her arms go around me to hold me up. "Let me help you Evan" she lead me to Jose's condo.

We get inside and she sits me down on the couch. In the bright light I see her better. She sure is a sexy looking women she's wearing a sports Bra, black leggings and running shoes but she still looks good. "Let me get the first aid kit". She rushes off when she returns she wearing a loose muscle shirt and has a red box in her hand.
