The headmistress told me about a new student arriving today and told me to help them finish their registration. She didn't tell me anything in specific about the student, she seemed to be in a hurry. I wonder if the student is nice, if so they'll fit in really well. The headmistress told me she would send the student to the student council room to meet me once they arrive, so I'm just waiting at the moment. My friend Melody just left to help mister Faraize with something for his next lesson so it's just me in the room. According to the headmistress the new student should be arriving any minute now. I wait another couple of minutes before I hear a knock on the door and it opens

A guy around my age enters the room, he must be the new student because I've never seen him before. He's got a friendly smile on his face and seems to be polite. He has golden blond hair and a nearly matching gold color in his eyes. The guy closes the door behind him and I get up to greet him, but before I can say anything he already speaks up
"Hello, the headmistress told me to look for the student body president, am I in the right place?" As a response I smile back at him and hold my hand out for him to shake, which he does
"You are! I'm Tyler, the student body president. I'm assuming you're the new student I've been told about?"
"I'm Nathaniel, pleased to meet you"
"I like that name. Let me help you with your registration and you can start your classes tomorrow" Nathaniel nods in agreement and I get his papers for him to sign. Afterwards I tell him he still needs a passport photo for his student I.D. and I explain to him where he can get one
"Thank you for helping me, it's good to know there's at least one nice person at this school" he says when we're done, at which I softly laugh
"Most of us are nice, I'm sure you'll fit right in here!"
"Is there anyone I should look out for?"
"Well, I would definitely recommend not saying anything bad to Castiel, he's the one with the bright red hair, you can't miss him. Also try and stay away from Adam, he's kind of like the male version of a mean girl" Nathaniel smiles at my advice
"I will take your word for it. Thanks again for your help, I'll see you tomorrow?"
"I'll be here" I smile at him before Nathaniel leaves the room, then I put his paperwork in his file and put it in a safe drawer of the closet behind me before sitting down and working on other paperwork. After half an hour I pack up my bag and go home for the day

Just as he said, Nathaniel returned the next day with his passport photo and his entrance fee. He also tells me a bit about the people he met here so far
"You were right, most of the people here are really nice! Although I did run into those people you warned me about"
"What happened?"
"That Castiel can be easily agitated, but he doesn't really seem like the person I'd be friends with anyway. And Adam is just.. well I would almost call him crazy. He's just really rude, you know?" He says and I sadly have to agree. Adam isn't exactly an angel but he has the gift of sweet talking our parents, so I always come out looking like the bad kid
"Hey, you may be right but only I get to talk about him like that" I say and smile softly while watching Nathaniel's face turn confused
"Adam is my brother. I agree that he and his friends can be.. rather awful, really. But still I would appreciate it if you didn't go around calling him those things" I explain to him and he tells me he understands. After that I help Nathaniel with his paperwork, give him his schedule and locker number with the combination. He thanks me and leaves the room, I return to my own paperwork

It's the end of the day, everybody is heading home. It's a Friday afternoon so it's understandable that nobody wants to stay at school any longer, I don't really mind that much though. While walking through the hallways I manage to run into Nathaniel and talk to him
"Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to see the school's library. You seem like the kind of guy to appreciate a good book" I ask Nathaniel to which he smiles
"You're right, I would like that"
"Great! The library is only available for students that are working on a project though. Only if you're a member of the student council you're always allowed access"
"Is that why you became a member?" He laughs softly
"No, but I have to say it was a factor" we joke around a bit more on the way to the library. I show him where he can find certain books for certain subjects, there aren't many books for entertainment, they're pretty much all informative. We stay in the library for a while until I get a text from Adam telling me to come home. Nathaniel thanks me for showing him around and I tell him it's no problem, then we part ways for the weekend
