I awoke to dark waters. The cold wrapped around me taking away any warmth leaving me shivering. It was dead silence and then an icy voice hissed from the dark.

"Give usss the child."

I tensed and snarled,"Never."

"Then face our wrath," hissed another cruel voice.

A cold slimy tentacle latched onto my arm holding me in place. I did not scream. I would not scream.

Not even when they used their magic to leave burn marks on my arms. Not even when they chopped my fingers off continuously as they began to heal. Not even when they began cutting pieces of my tail and scarlet blood oozed everywhere. My tail would not heal without scars.

I would die a thousand deaths rather then tell them where my sweet precious baby was.

"Let's try again, shall we? Where isss the girl?"

I hung my head and said, "I don't know."

I began to sob.

"Liar!" hissed a voice.

"You will tell us one way or the other. Pain makes people do things they normally wouldn't do, but pain makes you defiant, so perhaps somebody else's pain will make you cooperate. Maybe... your sisters pain?"

"I don't have a sister anymore" I said in as cold of a voice as I could muster.

"No? Well I suppose it won't matter then when we kill her in front of you. And it won't be a quick death. We will make her suffer until we get the information out of you."

"I told you I don't know!"

She could see the Siren's cold malicious smile from the dark.

"I don't believe you."

And that's when the real pain started.
