^_^ Chapter 6 - "What do you know about Love?"^_^

(Five hours later - nighttime)

Nana Aishda waited outside the entrance to her former Café for the man with the funky cowboy hat. She pulled out her phone while she was waiting and went onto the 'Neko Atsume' game. She barely got halfway through when the front entrance doors pushed open as the man fished out his keys and locked the cafe up for the night.

"Thanks again for letting me stay with you. I really appreciate it."Nana thanked him, turning off her phone and safe pocketing it into her purse.

The man nodded. "You're welcome, Nana. After all, you burned your house down."he smirked at her, as she rolled her eyes.

"Can you not bring it up? I really don't want to hear it."she muttered; she was anything but pleased about burning her own house down just by merely baking cookies. "Stupid cookies, why'd you have to burn my freaking house down!"she shouted.

The man looked at her. "Are you okay? You seem tense."he said.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Let's just go."she mumbled, walking ahead of him.

She only got about five inches ahead of him before she turned around with a sheepish look. "Which way?"she smiled, shyly.

The man laughed. "This way."he said, as he took her hand, leading her down the sidewalk.

When the man held her hand, Nana felt calmer and less panicked than she had been a few minutes ago. He was giving her a chance to live under a roof without living with Katelyn and Travis or Aphmau, Aaron, and baby Alina.

She was getting a fresh start on her life and she really hoped she wouldn't fall for anyone.

"We're here."the man stated, jerking Nana from her train of thoughts.

Her amber eyes stared at a blue and brown house. She turned around and looked down the street, seeing the Lycan house just down the road.

"You live on the s..same street?"she stuttered, shocked.

The man raised an eyebrow. "Uh, yeah?"he questioned her.

"Never-mind, I just...can I see inside?"she asked him, politely.

He nodded, and tipped his cowboy hat once again before walking up the driveway and holding the front door open for Nana.

"Thank you, kind sir."she smiled, as he smiled back at her.

She walked in and cane face to face with an open kitchen/living room combination. The oak stairs were beside the basement door, leading upstairs to three bedrooms and a bathroom.

"This is a nice house."she commented.

The man walked into the kitchen. "Garroth, you can't even clean up after yourself."the man muttered incoherently, as he picked up a pair of dirty shorts.

"What was that?"Nana asked, hearing him mumble quietly.

"Nothing, Nana!"he hollered back, dropping the dirty pair of shorts in an empty laundry basket that sat beside the basement door and on the other side of the stairs.

"If you say so."Nana hummed.

It took the two several hours -five long hours- to clean up the mysterious man's house and poor Nana, she still got absolutely no name.

She kept pondering, trying to figure out what his name could be and so far she got none. Hell, she thought it could be Zane, but she passed it off, knowing it definitely was not her crush.

Nana, again, pulled out her phone and unlocked it. She tapped photos and brought up a photo of her, Aphmau, Katelyn, Lucinda, and Kim all standing in front of their crushes. Her in front of Zane. Aphmau in front of Aaron. Katelyn in front of Jeffrey ((she wasn't dating Travis until Starlight)). Lucinda in front of Issac ((her ex-boyfriend now, she's dating Melissa)). And Kim in front of Laurence.

She knew they all changed. Aphmau and Aaron got married and had Alina. Katelyn and Travis are dating -hopefully they'll get married, she thought. Kim was dating Garroth -Laurence's best friend. Lucinda was happily dating Melissa -Aaron's older sister. And Zane...Nana had no idea where he was.

"Zane, wherever you are, I miss you."she whispered; unaware of the man listening to her speak.

"I miss you, more than anything. You were my light, my hope and my partner. I promise you, Zane. No matter what, I will find you because I love you."Nana told herself, hugging her phone close to her chest.

The man stood there, unable to even speak a single word. 'Nana loves me?'the man thought to himself. 'I knew it was her! I knew I recognized those beautiful amber eyes anywhere!'he added.

"Oh, Nana."the man walked over to Nana and brought her close to him.

He let her cry on his chest. "Oh, cowboy. I miss him, so much."she whispered.

'If only you knew Nana.'Zane thought to himself.

"I'm sure, he misses you the same."he told her, as she lifted her head away to stare at him.

"What do you know about love?"Nana snapped.

She took a deep breath and gave him a sincere smile. "Sorry about snapping. It's just..it's been years since I've seen him. I'd do anything just to see my Zane again."she apologized.

The man nodded. "I bet. If he means that much to you, then maybe talking about him to me will help. If you're going to live with me, I really would like to know more about you, Nana."the man told her.

"Of course. What would you like to know first?"she asked him, sitting down on the couch to look at him, while he took the chair.

"What's your favorite color?"the man asked her.

She smirked. "Pink, obviously!"she giggled. "You?"she added.

"Black. Next question; what's your favorite hobby?"he asked.

"That's easy, baking!"she admitted.

The look in her eyes was all he needed to answer her silent question.

"I don't have a hobby!"he replied, rather quickly.

'Lie.'his brain told him. 'You love My Little Horsie.'his brain added.

"It's okay. You'll find one you like."Nana told him.

'Why was she being so kind to a stranger she barely knows?'the man asked himself.
