Chapter 15 Pro's Test Begin!

"To think the Eastern Kingdom has techniques like tha-"

The siblings stare at Blitz and Ace; they remembered that the two are royals of the Eastern Kingdom, could those two acquire a magical technique like that?

"Pay attention everyone!"

Kana took out her wooden staff; the blue shining stone that is attached on the top of the staff starts glowing as multiple magical circles form around the blue orb.

"Arcane Magic: Size Manipulation!"

She aimed her staff at the skeletal demon; multiple magical circles appear around the demon. The circles shine and casts a blinding light towards everyone, causing them to turn their eyes away.

As everyone opens their eyes once more they gasp as they see the skeletal demon gigantic; it's old human sized form is now five times the size of a average human, his hinged back almost touching the ceiling.

"Size Manipulation? Is that similar with my magic?"

Ken wondered to himself as everyone looked up at the demon looming over them.

"You've all seen what a demon can do but you guys didn't have to deal with collateral control. All of you will be fighting in a fake city with dummies. Beat the demon and save everyone but..."

Kana raised her hand and raised one finger towards the children.

"If one dummy were to be destroyed, me and Hofuku will be leaving without all of you."

Everyone got surprised, could they really be able to save every one of them? Especially while dealing with an enemy like that.

"If you want to be part of the military you have to deal with two jobs: Kill every demon you encounter and defend every civilian from harm. Sometimes you have them at the same time. Besides compared to real demon invasions, this is more easier."

"Uhhh ma'm wheres the fake city? We didn't see anything like that around here."

Ken asked shyly, nervous from Kana's presence. Kana gives off a chuckle as she has a grin on her face.

"Follow me kids."

Kana walked out from the back entrance of the C.L.U.B that led to the barren training grounds, separated from the buildings by miles.

"Feast your eyes on the power of a master mage! Barren ground that lays before me! Rise up in my command and form into my image!"

Kana raised her staff in the air then slamming it on the ground. There was silence for a few seconds but suddenly the ground around them started shaking as the ground before then starts deforming. The ground turning soft that resembled mud; the mud starts shaping themselves into towers and small buildings. Kana lifts her staff, leaving the mud like ground solidified.

"A magic technique I practiced for this occasion though this is more of a one time thing since this takes a hell lot of energy and concentration. So what do you guys think?"

Kana stood there tired, her body slightly shaking as there was slight signs of sweat on her forehead.

The students were left amazed by the powerful display of magic, their jaws practically left open as they examined the fake city. There was obviously lack of details when it came to buildings but each of them at least had room for dummies to be put inside.
