Death? --Discontinued for a while--

Chapter Six.

~~Jade's POV~~

When I told him my name, I felt... attracted to him somehow. I look at his outfit quietly.

He was wearing black gloves, with only his thumbs showing. His shirt was a bright red, and was covered by a black and gray jacket. He wore long black jeans, with little chains hanging from them. His shoes were also black. Even his hair was black! His headphones were black with red, glowing orbs.

'Damn, this kid really likes black and red...' I think half-heartedly.

"So, Jade. Why're you here?" He asks, smiling. He puts his sword on his back. "Oh, just running away from certain death." I sigh. He looks at me, obviously confused.

"I'm being haunted, and I need to run." I growl. His eyes widen in recognition. "S-So you're one of the two I have to find...!" He shouts, excitment dripping in his voice.

"Wait, what? You're marked too?" I ask, shocked. He nods and grins like a madman.

"Awesome!" I laugh. "Where did Herobrine mark you at?"

"My chest." He sighs and slightly lifts up his shirt, showing me the initials.

"What about you?"

"Face."

"Really?!"

I nod and sigh. "But I'm not showing you." "Aww why not!"

"It looks... really bad." I look at the ground. "Is that why you're wearing that mask?"

I nod again. "Yeah, sorry dude."

"Its okay." He smiles and looks around. "How long have you had the mark?" I ask kicking a tiny pebble.

"Around two days, you?" He sighs. "Same."

"That's cool, I guess." He frowns and sighs. "I wonder why we got chosen of all peo--" He is cut off by a large explosion behind him, launching him forward onto me. I scream as his now limp body lands on mine, making me fall. "AH FUCK!"

I push Jason's limp body off of me and inspect his back carefully. There was a small burn.

I sigh and pull some water out of my bag. I open it and put some water in my hand. I pour the water on the burn and a small 'sssss....' sounds.

I bandage the burn and lay him on his side. I wait for him to wake up.

~~Time Skip~~

Around night, he wakes up. He groans and sits up, rubbing his head. "W-What happened...?" He asks looking at me. "Explosion." I replying sighing.

"From what?!" He yells. I shrug, "I have no clue. It came out of no where. You had a small burn on your back."

He nods and sighs. "We should get going." I nod and stand up. "Got a place for us to stay?" He nods and smiles, standing up. "Yup, follow me!" He walks off.

I quickly grab my bag and follow him.

~~Time Skip Again~~

We eventually make it to a large rune in the middle of the jungle. "This is where I camp out." Jason says walking in. I follow and look around.

Vines were hanging from the ceiling, and a fire was made in the corner, along with a sleeping bag next to it.

"I have an extra sleeping bag for you..." He says sitting on the sleeping bag. I nod and sit down across from him.

"Lets get some rest. I'm exausted." I say with a yawn. He nods and pulls out a sleeping bag, handing it to me.

I take it and roll it out. I lay down and close my eyes, immediately falling asleep.
