It was 7am and we where almost home
Michael is amazing I want to tell him I'm going to tell him today
I'm going to tell Michael that I love him
We got home and Michael jumped on the couch and I made breakfast
"Um hey Michael?" I ask walking into the living room
"Yes" he mumbled half asleep already
"Um I love you" I say circling the couch to find a passed out Michael
He didn't hear me
Maybe this is a sign that I shouldn't tell him
But I really want to

Michael hasn't said anything about me saying I love you so I just will try again
"So um Michael I want to tell you something" I smile
"What is it" Michael turns to me
"Um well we have been friends for a while-" I was cut off when someone knocked on the door
Michael got up and answered the door
"Gen!"
"Hi Michael!" I got up and walked to the door they hugged and then Michael kissed her cheek
Ow.
"Hey Kate" she waved
"Hi Gen" I faked a smile
"Why are you here!" Michael cheerfully asked
"I came here to see you I missed you"
"I missed you so much" he cheered again
I ran into my room I slammed my door and locked it I started crying into my pillow

It has been an hour and I'm still crying
She's perfect
He loves her not me
I'll never be with him
My life is so bad now why can't I just be with him
Sobs coming out louder till I quiet down realizing they are still down stairs when the alarm beeps meaning they are leaving
I start sobbing really loud when the door closes
"Kate" I hear Michael's voice on the other side of the door
Crap
"Um yes Michael" I sniffle and wipe my eyes
"Open the door please"
"Okay" I opened the door
"What's wrong" he asked pulling me into a hug
"Nothing I just my stomach started hurting so I took my meds but my stomach still hurts really bad" i cry
"I'm sorry Kate"
He believed it thank god
"Can you lay with me?" I ask
"Of course" we laid down
I can't ruin this
Michael is my best friend and I can't change that
