Taima Is an anti-social omega wolf in her golden years. Since she is the emotional punching bag, she isnt very friendly around the puppies. Especially Hinto, a snow white wolf pup with ice blue eyes that likes to follow her around. Could it be that...
there are usually 2 alphas. The alpha male, and the alpha female. The alphas lead the pack because they are the most dominant ones. Depending on who gets dethroned, if the alpha gets dominated by a beta then the other alpha takes the new alpha for a mate.
The Spirited one -
this wolf is usually elderly. They have the spirits of their ancestors guiding them. They can tell prophecies and they are very wise. If a wolf is wounded, they can find the right herbal mixture to heal them. This wolf is very respected (same level as alpha)
Beta -
these wolves are second in line to the alpha. They are very fierce warriors and respected to those under their level. They tend to challenge the alpha for their rank or they want to take the alpha female as a mate.
Subordinate -
these are probably the average wolves. They aren't very respected and the higher class has mutual feelings about these wolves.
Omega -
This is the lowest level in the pack. These wolves are the most submissive and the pack challenges these wolves and takes out all their anger on the pack. They are probably weak and skinny because they are the last to eat on a pack hunt, that is if the other wolves didn't eat all of it. Even though this rank is the lowest, it still has a valuable role in society. Without the omega, the other wolves do not have an emotional punching bag so most of them would feel depressed or stressed out.
About the land
Howling peak -
Howling peak is where the pack lives. When puppies are young they don't leave the rocky area until they are 12 moons old. They might still hunt mice and other small critters. They are too small to hunt mountain goats, an ideal prey for mothers who have to tend to their puppies and can't leave the mountains.
Cow place -
This place is where the humans keep their cattle fenced in around their human dens. Lone wolves or exiled wolves hunt the big creatures because they aren't allowed to hunt on wolf territory. Those wolves usually get killed by humans if they get caught.
Deer Plains -
The pack often go here to hunt larger animals like deer, moose, and buffalo. The grasses there are favored by many species of prey.
Sparkling lake -
This lake is a water source for all who live in the area. Bears like to catch fish in that lake so the wolves always have keep their guard up.
Human village -
The wolves don't go here because of the humans. An exception could be if a wolf is too weak and starving to hunt, it could look around for discarded human food while hiding in the shadows.
Evergreens - this is a good place for wolves to solo hunt, or for young wolves that are new to pack hunts. It also previde shelter and a hiding spot if a bear or other threats are nearby.
