Patton had just logged off of discord. Patton spun around in his chair a little, tired out from the adventurous game Roman had them playing just a few minutes prior. Patton giggled, thinking of the fun they would have tomorrow after everyone got off of work. He looked towards his calendar. Tomorrow, Virgil would pick the game they would play.
Patton got up from his chair and changed into his cat onesie. He had meant to put it on before he got on the computer, but Roman was texting him nonstop to get on.
Yawning, he got into his pastel rainbow bed. He thought about what game Virgil might pick. His choices for games were always some kind of darker game. Never horror though. Patton specifically remembers Virgil typing that into the chat. He hated horror games. Virgil loved darker games that came with many different meanings, or strangely enough, multiplayer puzzle games.
Patton didn't get to ponder for very long, because before he knew it, he was fast asleep.

Logan woke up early, like he always did on Mondays. Though today was a little different, because today Logan wishes he could have just gone back to bed. Which was unusual behavior for Logan, but he had stayed up past midnight with his "Discord Family". That family consisted of three other members. Roman, Patton and Virgil. And although Logan will never say it, he often thinks of his Discord family as his real family. At least his Discord family was stable, unlike his own 'family'.
Nevertheless, no matter how many complaints his mind could make up, Logan got out of bed and began his daily routine before he had to go to his office job. He knew it was very unhealthy to be sitting all day in his office, and then to go home and immediately get into another chair, so Logan made up for it by walking to work every morning. He checked his phone, looking at the calendar as he made his way out of his house.
It was Virgil's turn tonight. No doubt Logan would most likely either be very confused about the game's meanings, or he would have to play babysitter and control the rest of the group in whatever multiplayer Virgil picked.
It couldn't be a game that didn't have a typing function, because Virgil was the only one on discord who didn't talk. He only typed. Virgil had explained to them in the past that he was mute, but taking vocal lessons. Because of this, everyone was anxious to finally hear his voice.
Logan stopped himself suddenly in the middle of his thoughts. He had made it to work.

Roman raced out of his workplace, running to get into his car and (most likely) go over the speed limit to get home.
This was not unusual. In fact, most people that went home at the same time Roman did were never phased by his reckless driving. It had just become apart of their routine.
Roman was always excited to get back home to his Discord friends. He felt happier when he was with them. Wether they were solving difficult portal puzzles, catching and taking care of slimes, battling enemies, or just laughing together whilst failing at having teamwork. Roman had such a big attachment to his friends that he even once skipped a free Disney movie marathon at his local theatre to hang out with them. Roman stumbled into his home, and dropped onto his bed. Checking his Disney-themed clock, he had around an hour before everyone else would get on. Perfect, enough time to watch most of a Disney movie.
He turned on his TV, putting on a random movie. His eyes didn't stay on the TV for long, though. They traveled to the Nightmare Before Christmas poster that Virgil mailed to him for Christmas. Somehow, he always found himself staring at that poster. Virgil claimed he had drawn it himself, and that only made the poster more special to Roman. He had many other gifts from Patton and Logan, and while he was grateful for their thoughtful gifts, he always enjoyed Virgil's surprises. Roman remembers fondly about the time when Patton and Logan both got off early, while Virgil and Roman spent 3 more hours arguing over the 'dark sides of disney'.
All through text though. Which is what infuriated Roman. He wanted to hear Virgil's voice so badly. He'd do anything to hear it. He just wanted that stupid speech therapist to work harder and let Virgil speak.
But...For now, just seeing Virgil's texts would be enough.
