Prenteng naglalakad si Agent Thunder papunta sa opisina ng boss niya dahil sa hindi malamang dahilan. Galing pa siyang Beijing, China para sa misyon niya at sa kanyang trabaho bilang doktor. Si UIEO President Ronnie Yue o mas kilala sa code name na President Alpha ay ama ng kaibigan niyang ahente rin kaya kahit papaano ay kilala niya ito. He is half Filipino, half Chinese. Lubusan niya itong nakilala ng minsang magsama sila ng anak niya sa isang misyong napagtagumpayan nila at nang malaman nito na isa siyang pinay.
Ang Underground Illegal Enforcement Organization o mas kilala bilang UIEO ay itinatag ng gobyerno para puksain ang kasamaang hindi kayang lutasin ng pulisya. Lahat ng bansa sa mundo ay mayroong HQ nila at ang main HQ ay nasa Russia. Kasama sa trabaho nila ay ang pag-ispiya, pagpapatigil ng terorismo, raid at iba pa. UIEO is much higher than government agencies because of their skills, potential, weapon system and intelligence.
Inayos niya ang black leather jacket niya saka kumatok sa pinto ng opisina.
“Come in!” sigaw ng boss niya mula sa loob. Agad namang pinihit ni Thunder ang door knob.
“Good Morning President , why did you call me?”agad na tanong niya.
Tumigil naman sa pagsusulat ang boss niya saka matiim siyang tinitigan. “It's time for you to leave the country, Agent Thunder” sabi ng boss niya na nagpatigil sa kanya.
“B-But why sir?! My mission there in China is not yet done and you want me to leave the country?!” hindi makapaniwalang anas niya.
Why the hell would I leave here?! And where the fvck am I going?! Sabi niya sa isip niya.
“Relax Thunder, You're no longer assigned in chasing the drug lords in China. Agent Gope will be handling that case since he's there. The reason behind is, I will give you a new mission. Listen carefully Thunder..” pakiusap niya kay Thunder. “..This man is in a big trouble. Because of his wealth, Satan's followers are chasing him just to get his power, wealth, and everything that he have. He is considered as the Richest Bachelor not only in his country but in the whole Southeast Asia and one of the Richest man in the Asia and in the World because of his fast growing company. So please Thunder, I'm begging you, accept this case” punong-puno ng hindi mapangalanang emosyon ang mata ng boss niya.
Hindi siya makagalaw. Nakatitig lamang siya sa kanyang boss.
Will I accept his offer?
Napaisip naman siya.
"What is this all about?"
"My nephew, is chasing by the mafia. He has no idea that he's life is in danger and that's alarming. His parents are already died and he's living on his own now. So all you have to do is to protect and save him from any danger."
She sighed. “Sir, Where in Asia is this man??” she asked.
May pag-aalinlangan ang mga mata ng boss niya pero agad naman itong napalitan ibang emosyon. “H-He is in the Philippines--”
“No. I won't accept the case” wika niya na nagpatigil sa boss niya.
“Thunder--”
“Sir, you knew how much I loathed that country. So why did you assigned me there?!”
“Because your case is there Thunder. And the man you'll protect is my beloved nephew. And also, you need to face your problem and staying outside the country and joining the organization is not the solution in your problem. So please Thunder, do this one. Not only for the organization, but for me” pagmamakaawa ng boss niya sa kaniya.
She stared at her boss. She closed her eyes and bite her lower lip as she exhaled loudly.
“Among all of the agents, why me?”
Ilang segundo siyang tinitigan ng boss niya. “Because you are my most trusted agent here Thunder, and besides, you know that country.” madamdaming sabi niya.
Maybe it's about time to face my demons out there
“My son, Tyrone, should be the one who will do this mission. But he is still studying and chasing his dream. Just please Thunder, do this one for my nephew.” dagdag pa niya.
Ano pa bang magagawa ko?
She sighed in disappointment. She look straight to his eyes and she saw an emotion; hope.
“Okay sir, I'll do this one for you, and for us. I'm not promising that this guy will survive but I'll do my best to keep him alive” Sabi niya at lumawak naman ang ngiti ng boss niya.
Ngunit hindi niya inaasahan na yayakapin siya mismo ng boss niya. “Thank you very much Thunder! I owe this one to you!” Sabi ng boss niya saka bumitaw sa pagkakayakap. “Do everything for him to live, Agent Thunder. I don't want him to die. I promise to his parents that I'll protect him. I didn't fulfill my promise to take care of him, but this one, I know, is enough to get him away from his parents' enemy”
She faked a smile. “I'll go now sir.. I will just pack my things up.” Sabi niya.
“Okay.. Tyrone will send the information about him through e-mail and I'll ready the plane for you” Sabi niya saka inihatid siya sa pintuan.
Bago umalis, pumihit siya paharap sa boss niya saka sumaludo. “Permission to leave sir!” sabi niya saka ibinaba ang kamay.
Tumango lang ang boss niya. “Take care Thunder, We will count on you” Sabi ng boss niya. Nginitian niya lang ito saka bahagyang yumuko saka umalis.
Tomorrow, It'll be an another day..
And her journey is full of surprises, problems and challenges that will lead her to an unpredictable life.
