You are staring at Beetlejuice in his eyes. His eyes are full of fear. The spear is still pointing towards his chest.
You slowly lower the spear.
"Y/N?!" Ava shouts.
"I can't do this." You turn to Ava. "Ava, I love this man."
Ava's eyes turn red and fill with tears. "Like I said: I just want the best for you, YOU CAN'T TRUST A DEMON! OUR FRIENDSHIP IS OVER." Ava walks out of the house.
You stare ahead, thinking what had just happened. You lost your best friend, that girl that you know since kindergarden...
Beetlejuice puts his arm around you.
"It will be fine. She will be back in a few days and apologize and you will be best friends again."
You start to get tears in your eyes.
"Beej, you don't get it! She is the only friend I have at school and-"
"But Y/N, you have-"
"Sorry, I feel sick. Bye, Beetlejuice."
You run to your bedroom. You put on a big sweater and lie on your bed while you start to cry.
Maybe it would've been better if I killed him, you think.
You check the time on your phone. 11 PM. You put your phone back and you cry yourself to sleep.
