i looked over and there was my annoying ass friends i love and missed dearly

i laughed and put my shit in the trunk and went to sit in the back with three

"wassup slime" trell said looking at me through the rear view mirror

he looked so different , but in a good way. he finally tamed his hair and put them in dreads , he had a mouth full of diamonds , tattoos , and his voice got deep. looking at him brought me this feeling i only felt when i was around him , a feeling i haven't felt in a long time .. god have i miss his fine ass . i've always ha-

ben said interrupting my thoughts

"i've been coolin' but i'm glad to be back with the gang"                     

i said with a smile

"ole faceass" kentrell said making us laugh

they soon made it back home stopping to get food on there way back , making jokes and catching up like old times. from time to time kentrell and joe made eye contact through the rear view mirror making them smile like goofballs. the connection between them was still strong everyone could see it but them which made them blind because even the blind could see they had something there.

i walked upstairs making my way to my room plopping down on my bed running my hands through my hair . i took out my phone and started messing with it until i heard a faint knock on my door signaling somebody was there

joe walked in with a smile on his face jumping beside me drawing my attention

"you tryna get yo ass kicked in 2k ?" joe said

immediately making me smile thinking back to all the old times me and him would be on the game for hours not even playing but talking shit to each other
