The roof air is cold and quiet. The sky was cloudy, it was raining, typical of late autumn. Andy feels the chill in his soul as he approaches the edge of the roof. He is looking at the city. His eyes beckon to take a step.

A tear runs down the guy's cheek - a promise of something he will no longer see.

He thinks, just one step and all - he will rid the world of himself. No more frequent tears at night, new cuts. He will just rid himself of the people he loves. You just have to take a step.

Andy closes his eyes, after a moment opens, not understanding why. Rain continues to drizzle, but the guy thinks that soon he will not feel it.

"Just one step."

A sudden phone call distracts him from all thoughts. Andy doesn't want to hear anything, not even his name.  He just hangs up, not even looking at who called. But the bell rings again.  Andy turns off the phone and puts it in his jacket pocket. He was about to take a step, when suddenly...

- Andy!

Ashley. This is for sure. Andy first hears the guy running up to him, and after that, he feels his eyes on himself.

“Please don't jump, Andy,” Ashley says quietly.
“I just want to rid everyone of myself. I am a problem for all of you.”
“You are not a problem, Andy.”
“I will relieve myself of the pain that overwhelms me. At the same time, I will deliver you all from her.” “Nothing good will happen. I won’t let you let the memories go away... about us.”

Ashley does not know how long he to hold Andy.  He was already starting to cry and tears could be heard in his voice.

“Ash, understand me,” Andy says through tears. “Nothing holds me here anymore.”

Already about to take a step, he heard Ashley's barely audible whisper:
“I'll jump you.”

For a moment, Andy was numb, but then turned around.

“Give me your hand, Andy,” Ashley whispered even more quietly, holding out his hand. Andy gave him a hand.  He pulled him over and pressed him tightly against him.

Ashley puts her hands on Andy's face and wipes the tears from his cheek with his thumb.

“I'm sorry Ash,” Andy says quietly.
“Uh, everything's fine,” Ashley answers. “I love you, and I will never let you do it again.”

The guy approaches his face and kisses, feeling the taste of tears and bitterness on his lips.  Andy leisurely answers the kiss and inwardly decided that whatever happens, he will live.  For Ashley's sake.
