Cecilia was standing on the side of the room as the whole house was filled with strangers who had come to pay their last respect to her parents. She has seen her brother talking to a few of them, a small smile on his face as he was being the kind and gentleman himself as always. Cecily, on the other hand, was distant and cold now, keeping herself far away from people she didn't know. Her chatty and happy self wasn't showing today. When the guests came up to her, she was just looking at them with empty eyes, not even caring what they wanted, but their eyes were only sympathetic, feeling for the twenty year-old girl losing both of her parents on the same day.
After an hour she got tired of the same, sad and fake-concered words, and she tried to get out of the room without everybody noticing. She made her way to the office of her father, knowing very well that what she was looking for was there. The room was dark and cold, next to her parents nobody used the whole building, so since they died two weeks ago it was empty, nobody was walking around, living their life in it.
Cecily sat down behind his father's desk, moving from side to side with the chair before opening one of the drawers and seeing an old whiskey sitting there with an empty glass. It was an open secret that her father loved whiskey and he never declined a drink even if it was alone. And now Cecily felt like taking his place at the moment. She wasn't a big party person, but she liked the taste of the sweet whiskey on her tongue while not caring about anything around her. She didn't know how long she was already sitting there, but the house got empty slowly, only her brother and a few of his men staying around.
Sebastian started on a drink himself immediately after the last person left the house. He knew exactly where his sister was, but he had other things on his mind too. One of the guests, not really being a friend of his parents, more like an enemy of his, showed up confirming his fear, his parents haven't died in a simple car accident, he put money into the wrong business, supporting the wrong mafia group in East Europe, and Bosnia wasn't happy because of his new partnership with the Russians. And the one and only Bosnian mafia was famous about not knowing mercy when others messed with them. The messenger coming tonight to the funeral had only one sentence to give to Sebastian, the head of one of the biggest mafia group in Italy, which were easily the words "our deal is over". That meant not only that there were no trade between the two, but also that certain people didn't get the same protection than before. The best way to get over this message was of course killing a part of his family, but Sebastian wasn't one just to acknowledge his defeat this easily. No, Trusov, the one leading the Bosnian group will feel his anger. But before that, he had to make sure that everybody was safe.

Cecilia was so much in her thoughts that she almost didn't even hear her brother entering the room, but without looking up she could feel his present next to her chair, him leaning against the desk. By that time Cecily had already given up drinking from the glass and kept the whole bottle for herself, taking sips from it every now and then. They sat next to each other for a good ten minutes while Sebastian collected what he wanted to say.
"You are coming with me to Maranello." He didn't even suggested anymore, just announcing what she had to do.
"They died because of something you did, didn't they?" Cecily wasn't even angry with her brother, their family ran in the mafia business for decades now. She heard stories many times before about how their parents met, her mother being a maid in the house her father was a mafia boss and he falling in love with her, and after her brother got old enough to take the place of their father, he did it, making his dad retire. It has always been a dangerous business, so Cecilia guessed that it was just time until something like this happened.
Sebastian didn't answer, but he didn't even have to, her question was more like a statement.
"I'll take care of this, but I'll need to know that you're safe, before I start anything. So take your coat, we are leaving to the airport in ten minutes." This sentence put some life into Cecily, she lifted her head quickly to look into her brother's eyes.
"But I have everything in my apartment, I-"
"There aren't anything we couldn't replace later, but we have to go now. And that's my last word." Cecily looked dumbfounded after Sebastian who walked out of the room, getting their car and then jet ready to leave the Swiss city and country behind.

Hi all,

I had this idea after I reread curvaparabolica 's older mafia story with Daniel called Girasole a few weeks ago, and I'll be honest, I loved every word of that, so decided to write down my own idea in the Mafia x Formula1 world. Check her story out if you haven't already, I hope you'll like mine too!
Also I'll try to post updates as soon as possible, especially because of this quarantine thing at the moment, but the worst case is that there'll be a new chapter every week.

Kisses,
