Kirito x Reader ~ Virtually With Him

Captured Tears

Your POV~

        Kirito, (f/n), and I were walking in the main Spriggan town, looking for stronger armor and weapons. We went to sit on a bench and eat. I handed Kirito and (f/n) a sandwich when her pet, a faliot, made a whimpering sound. I laughed and gave her half of mine.

~Flashback~

           (F/n), Kirito and I were leveling up when we can across a monster that looked like a fox but was dragon-like at the same time. "IT'S SOOOO CUTE~!!" (f/n) cooed as she ran up to it and gave it a sandwich that I had made for her. The creature, a faliot, sniffed the sandwich and took a small bite. It just flew for a while, making no movements, just flying. We waited in anticipation then (f/n) looked down sadly. A flash of color shifted and her sandwich was gone. The faliot had taken it and landed atop (f/n)'s head, swallowing the sandwich in one gulp. It curled up on her head and (f/n) cradeled it in her arms. "YAY!!" she whisper-shouted. Kirito looked at us in dibelief. "Y-You two both have amazing luck with beast taming!! How did yo-" he stopped and chuckled. "Well, who wouldn't like (y/n)'s sandwiches~?" We all laughed and I pointed towards the faliot, asleep in (f/n)'s arms. "What're you gonna name her?" I asked. She thought for a minute and opened her mouth. "I'll name it-...no...hmmm..." she muttered and thought some more. "I'll name her...Dinni~!!" (pronounced Den-nee) (f/n) said. "Dinni?" Kirito chuckled. "You're hungry arn't you?" I giggled. She nodded her head and I laughed as she ate the sandwich quickly.

~End of Flashback~ 

      I was about to take a bite into my own, when I saw a sword that resembled mine in SAO. I put my sandwich back into my inventory and told Kirito to wait. I turned and dragged (f/n) with me into the shop.

Kirito's POV~

        I went to go look in a shop too. I came out and sat back on the bench, eating my sandwich when I heard a rustle come from behind me. I was about to look around, when I felt someone's lips press against mine. 'Oh, (y/n)...' I thought as I kissed back.

Your POV~

        After buying the sword and equiping it, I opened the door, grinning. As I was taking my first step back towards the bench. My eyes widened and I could feel tears threaten to spill down my face. Kirito was...Kirito was kissing Asuna...I allowed the tears to trail down my face. "K-Kirito...?" I questioned in a small voice. He opened his eyes and they widened as he looked from the corner of his eyes and saw me. I fell to my knees as hot, painful tears fell to the ground. Kirito pushed Asuna away and started to come towards me. I shook my head and ran. I couldn't even look at him at the moment. "(Y/n)!! WAIT UP!!" he called after me. "Please...just...just get away...!!" I cried and ran faster up the stairs towards the top of the building, my vision blurred. My wings materialized and I was about to fly off but something caught my wrist. I looked back at Kirito, a pained expression on his face as I glared at him with tears. "(Y-Y/n)...let me explain..." he tried. I just looked down and shook my head. "Asuna...we...I-" "Just go back to her KIRITO!!" I shouted. "You...you-......just leave me behind. Go back to your love." I told him bitterly. He looked like he was in serious pain but I didn't care. I ripped my hand from his grasp and flew away. "(Y/N), PLEASE!! PLEASE LET ME EXPLAIN!!" Kirito called as he flew behind me. I dived down into a forest trying to escape his sight. As I landed, I fell to the ground, tears hitting the grass.

         I was sobbing loudly when I felt a hand rest gently on my shoulder. I jerked away and started to get up when someone grabbed my wrist and I heard a concerned animal-like noise. I turned and saw (f/n) with Dinni perched on her shoulder. She had a sad look on her face and she pulled me into a hug. "(f/n)...he...Kirito, he..." I couldn't finish. More sobs came and tears flowed out of my (e/c) eyes once more. (F/n) pulled away and patted my back. She tried giving me a smile. "You don't want to look like that infront of Kirito, do you?" she asked, fixing my hair with her fingers and giving me a tissue to wipe away the tears. Though more tears were dropping, a chuckle escaped my lips and I wiped the tears. "Thank you..." I muttered, patted her head, and got up on my feet. Iku had woken up and cuddled me. I rubbed his head, giggling. Just then, blue light enveloped me. The last thing I saw was (f/n) reaching towards me and Kirito running towards me as he shouted my name in a panicked tone. Then the light filled my vision.

         When the light disappeared, I looked around and found myself in a cage of some sort. I gritted my teeth as I heard a sickly chuckle come from behind me. "Oberon." I muttered. I turned around to find 'the fairy king' with a grin steadily growing on his face.

(F/n)'s POV~

         After (y/n) had disappeared, I fell to my knees. "No...no no no..." I muttered. "(F-f/n)?" Kirito asked. I turned towards him and grabbed the front of his shirt in one swift move, staring him straight in the eyes. "Why?! Why did you kiss Asuna?!" I shouted at him. "I-I didn't know..." he muttered and looked down. "What do you mean 'you didn't know'?!" I questioned. He looked back up at me, a pained expression on his face. "I...I thought she was (y/n)...When I opened my eyes and saw her fall to the ground, crying...I-I didn't know what to do...I'm so sorry..." He told me. His voice cracked with sadness as he said the last few words. I slowly released my grip from his shirt and put my hand on his shoulder. "(Y/n). She was taken somewhere and she can't escape on her own." I told him. He stared into my eyes, shocked. "How? Why would she...?" he asked. "She's being kept up in the branches of the World Tree...by Oberon." I said. He clenched his teeth and looked at me, determination and hate burning in his dark eyes. "Then no matter what, I'll save her. She's not leaving my side now." I grinned. "Looks like we're going to the World Tree!"
