Kirito x Reader ~ Virtually With Him

'Yui...'

Kirito's POV~

        "So, what do you want to do today?" (Y/n) asked me. "Actually, I wanted to explore a nearby forest." I told her. "Okay, lets go!" We headed out the door.

        "C-can I get on your shoulders?" she asked. "I wanted to see what it was like to view from a different height..." "Aren't you a little to old for that?" I laughed. (Y/n) blushed and looked down to the ground, messing with the sleeve of her orange-red sweater. I couldn't stand to see her sad. "Fine, get on!" I chuckled as I bent down to the ground. "Don't look behind you!" she giggled she lifted her black skirt to get on my shoulders. I saw her light brown boots come over and I stood up.

         "Wow~! I can already see the river!" (Y/n) exlaimed happily. "I can't." I muttered. She ruffled my dark hair and said, "I'll let you see it on the way back!" I huffed and ran off.

          When we got to the lake, fisherman started waving and chuckling at us. We both blushed and (y/n) reluctantly waved back. When she realized I hadn't, she lightly pushed on my head. "Wave Back!" She whisper-yelled at me. I waved back then quickly, once again, ran off, with (y/n) giggling.

          We walked through the forest hand in hand. "So...what's this rumor about?" she asked. "A ghost haunting the forest." "There's no ghost in SAO..." (Y/n) muttered. "Ohh~! I finally found your weakness, huh?" I said, smirking. "I'm not scared of ghosts!" She said confidently, but she was clinging to my arm which totally contridicted what she'd just told me. I chuckled and patted her head. "What's that...?" she asked, pointing to a nearby tree. "You gotta be kidding me..." I muttered. It had the figure of a young girl, she was wearing a simple white dress and had long black hair. "Wait...That's no ghost!" (Y/n) said, running over to the girl and holding her in her arms as she fainted. "We should take her back to the house until she wakes up." I said. (Y/n) nodded.

           When we got to the house, the girl hadn't waken up yet. We layed in the bed beside ours and went to sleep.

Your POV~

        I awakened to the sound of my alarm music playing in my head. I always woke up 30 minutes before Kirito so that when he got up, he could enjoy breakfeast. But this morning, something was wrong. 'Is that...humming...?' I wondered. 'Wait, I'm not humming but the song I hear is my alarm clock...only I can hear that song though...' I looked to the bed beside me. The small girl was staring at me with large black eyes. "WHA-?!" I shouted as I fell off the bed, startled. "What's wrong (Y/n)?" Kirito asked, slightly annoyed. He blinked several times then saw the girl staring. "AHH-!!" He yelled and fell off the bed too. The little girl giggle and I laughed too. Kirito got off the ground and sat on the bed facing the girl, rubbing his head. I sat down next to him and smiled. "Can you tell us your name?" I asked her, already knowing it was Yui. "Name...my name...Yui...that's my name..." She told me in a cute little voice. "That's a nice name," I told her. "I'm (Y/n) and this is Kirito." I said, holding his hand. "...(y.../n)...Ki...to." Yui tried. "Yui, can you tell us what you were doing in the forest?" I asked. "I...don't know. I don't know...anything..." 'Not only has she lost her memory, but she seems to have regressed into a younger child.' Kirito whispered, looking down. I put my hand on his shoulder and smilled at him. 'It's okay, we'll find something to help her...' I told him. "Hey Yui! I'm Kirito." He said smiling. "Kiito...Ki...to." Yui tried again. "I guess it is hard to say, call us what ever is easiest." Kirito reassured her. She thought for a minute then looked up. "...Papa," she said pointing to Kirito. "...Mama." Yui finished, looking at me. I looked at Kirito and he was smiling. "That's right Yui!" Kirito told her. "Papa! Mama!" She said laughing as she hugged us.
