prologue

"i-i like y-you." i confessed to my one and only crush, Elly Vince Mañalac.

"i'm sorry, but i love your best friend, Aisha." and with that, i started to run and didn't care where my feet will take me.

while i'm running, i tripped on something and there i saw my crush's bag on the ground with my best friend's photo in it. how did i not noticed that earlier? i cried more.

i ran faster and i ended up on my house. I ran to my room, hearing my parents calling my name, but I didn't bother to turn around. i turned on the aircon, turned off the lights, lay on my bed, put on my blanket and covered my face with a pillow.
