'The Corporation - 1978'

It was a hot summer day in Mid August and Andrew a 17 year old young man was laying on the grass enjoying his summer break his CD player was booming from the patio and he had not a worry in the world. With nothing to do he just sat by the pool thinking about how he could spend the rest of his holidays. He thought to himself that this would be stress free and calm as opposed to the busy school year and mountains of homework he had completed the last semester. He jumped up and dived into the pool, he felt the cool water run through his long blonde hair and he jumped out of the water and then belly flopped back in.

"Andy, dry off and come inside please"called a gentle female voice.

As he walked up the steps out of the pool he ran his hands through his hair and the water dripped down his back. He grabbed his towel and quickly wiped himself off as he made his way across the considerably spaced yard and up the steps onto the patio. As he made his way through the conservatory and into the kitchen his mom was packing a bag.

"Now listen hun, we are heading out shortly, are you sure you don't want to come with us?" She asked as she continued to pack the bag.

"Of course he doesn't, he'd much rather spend the week not being shacked up with us at the cabin" called his father walking into the room with a first aid kit "found it, it was in the washroom" he added on as he through the kit on the bench. "No parties, and make sure you lock up at night and before you go out" he said as he looked at his son.

"Aren't you going to say no girls as well?" Andrew replied smiling nervously. His father chuckled and patted him on the back as he walked out of the kitchen.

1:25pm
Andrew was now left home alone for the week and he was laying on the couch watching a rerun of Get Smart. He looked at the clock and thought about what he could do now, being 48° now he had no intention of going outside, so he went into the conservatory and grabbed a beer from the bar. He though surely his dad wouldn't mind a few missing and unscrewed the lid. He walked back into the main foyer and picked up the telephone. "
Hi Mrs Bates, is Fred home?... Hey Freddy, wanna sleep over tonight?... sweet man, see you soon" he hung up the phone and walked up stairs to his room to grab a book. 'what to read' he asked as he browsed the bookshelf. 'hmmm, Carrie or Scary Stories' he grabbed scary stories and walked back down stairs into the lounge room and laid on the lounge and began to read the book.
4:17pm
Ring Ring... Ring Ring... Ring Ring.... Andrew Jumped up off the couch waking himself in a fright and walked over to the telephone.
"Prescott Residence, Andrew Speaking" he announced with a yawn. The line was quiet for a few seconds and he looked at the time Suddenly a monotone female voice boomed through the line

"Good afternoon, please state a name and location for The Corporation to visit"

The voice was robotic and emotionless and Andrew was confused and dreary.

"Pardon, whom are you calling for?" He replied with confusion on his face.

"please state a name and location for The Corporation to visit" the voice read again in the exact same tone. "

Who is this?"

Growing suspicious and uncomfortable and for what seemed like minutes the line stayed silent, and for a moment he thought he heard someone breathing.

"Im hanging up now"

He dropped the phone onto its hook and immediately the front door thumped and Andrew could see a shadow through the frosted glass cut outs. He jumped back and went silent, freaked out, his heart racing he edged closer to the door.
Again the door pounded, whoever was outside wanted in. Andrew moved slowly and cautiously and put his hand on the knob. Turning it, he opened the door and immediately he stood down from panic mood.
