Chapter 1: Preformance

Start from the beginning

"Miss (Y/n)! You're on in five!" An Irken said.
"Well we see you're busy! Well call you later! And tell you how amazing you did! Good luck!!!" Tallest Purple said and hung up the phone.

"I JUST GOT A CALL FROM THE TALLEST!!! EEEEEEE!!!" I screamed. Some of the Irkens back stage looked at me.
"(Y/n), two minutes!" One of the stage crew piped his head around a corner. I nodded, curling my antenna around my finger, making it extra swirly!
"Oh and- I... im a big fan... may you...?" He awkwardly walked up to me, holding a poster with my face on it.
"Yes! Of course!" I blushed in embarrassment. I always liked seeing fans. It made my heart melt, knowing only a few decades ago I was one of them, wishing, hoping, pleading to anything I'd one day get to meet the one Irken I looked up to.
I signed the paper, smiling.
"T-thirty seconds miss (Y/n)!" He starred at the poster in awe.
I stood up, walking on the stage. Bright light shone through cracks in the large red curtain.
"Ladies and Gentlemen! Get ready for (y/n)
(l/n)s New Years Spectacular! Featuring
(y/n) herself! In Ten! Nine!" All the Irkens behind the curtain started counting along.
"Eight! Seven! Six!" The curtains wavered, eagerly waiting to be drawn.
"Five! Four! Three!" The curtains rose.
"Two! One!!" An orchestra of music filled the theatre, performers danced around, dressed in black, pink, and yellow.
I gracefully sauntered up to the mic.
Taking in a deep breath, I moved my lips up to the mic.
Boom!!
I was off! Singing and dancing! The crowd cheered, whooping and clapping along.
My mind filled with joy. I loved my job. After what seemed like only a moment, the orchestra stopped. I was finished.
Panting, I walked back to the center of the stage, waving goodbye to the performers who danced with me.
I wiped the sweat off my forehead, some of them started cheering.
"Thank y'all so much for being here!" I spoke.
"I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for all of you, cheering me on. I'm so happy to spend the last night of the New Years here with y'all. And after! I'll be holding a special party outside! As we speak my team is setting up all sorts of fun things for everyone to do!" I looked out the double doors, sure enough, Irkens in black hats moved tents and food around.
My audience started clapping, hollering in excitement.
"Alright everyone! I'll meet you outside!!" I dashed off the stage.
The curtains closed.
"Miss (Y/n)! That was incredible!" My manager walked along side me as I rushed to the changing rooms.
"Indeed it was! But it's not over. I hope everyone likes what we set up out there. You're a genius. I have no idea what I'd do with out you." I stopped running and sighed.
"Me neither." He joked.
"Ouch! Alright! Since when did you get so hip old man!" I punched his shoulder.
"Since you grew up little one." He smiled down at me.
I puffed out air and closed the door.
Slipping into the little (skirt color, s/c) skirt and bodice, I turned around to see my little companion, sleeping in his bed.
"Romily!" I called. His tail popped up, sticking up out of the covers.
He stretched and hopped out of bed, climbing up my arm and onto my shoulder.
"Let's go!" I put glitter on my cheeks and rushed out the door, passing my manager.
As I ran I turned my head back,
"We ready??"
"Um- yes we are ready! Don't mess up, be pretty, aaaand?" He stopped me.
"Haaave fuuuuun?" I tilted my head, giving him finger guns.
"No. Take this, there's no cameras outside- we want to be able to communicate with ya on stage! But yes- have fun!" He tossed me a little antennae piece, I strapped it on and opened the door, scrambling up the stage.
Irkens were roaming around, they had set it up to be like a fair/concert. Some had cotton candy, some had popcorn. All were smiling and laughing. It felt good. Giving my miserable friends a good night. Times have been hard lately.
I ran up to the mic, tapping it.
"Check check! Alright y'all! Hey! Hi! Yeah I hope you're having fun here! I'm so excited to see you! And oh!" Romily put his paws on the mic.
"He's just jealous his big sis is getting all the attention!" The crowd laughs.
The radio in my (I'm just going to call it an ear, y'all all know it's ur antennae.) ear clicked.
"(Y/n) somethings wrong." A voice popped through.
"What's going on?" I whispered.
"We haven't figured it out. We think someone just sneaked past security. Just try to end this quickly. We don't want any... accidents." They said.
"Accidents...?" I whimpered. What was wrong?? I started getting anxious.
Someone in the crowd coughed.
"Oh! Haha! Apologies guys! Just the boss telling me how great things are going!!" I started shaking. And so did my voice.
"Uh- wooh... yeah. It's- I- yes." I looked at the crowd. I don't know what's happening! I'm freaking out! This hasn't happened for years! Why am I so nervous! Am I having a panic attack!?
I started breathing heavy.
"S-so! I hope everyone here had a good night! I hope everyone... had... night..." I started repeating words. My breathing grew heavier.
Irkens in the audience started murmuring to each other. I wanted to cry for some reason. I felt they were judging me. I started having bad thoughts...
What if something was wrong? What if these guys didn't have a good time?? What if... what if- I- I can't do this!
My throat tightened.
"(Y/n)! (Y/n) what the hell are you doing!? Say something! Just tell them good night and walk off the stage!!" I heard my manager through the earpiece.
My body was shaking so bad and I felt cold.
"I hope you all had a good night! I-... I said that already! Hah! Look at me!" I chuckled.
"Exits to the right..." I breathed. I felt light headed. I put my hand over my eyes and stumbled off stage.
My manager was there with a cold towel.
"(Y/n)?? (Y/n) what's wrong??" I sat down, pushing the stage crew away.
"I'm okay! I'm okay! I... I just got nervous." Romily pushed his bushy face against my cheek.
"What's going on?? Y'all said something was wrong?" I asked, looking around at the Irks surrounding me.
"Yeah it's nothing. As we guessed, some junkie snuck past security. Well have him out by the time the hour hits." My manager rubbed my back.
"Why don't you go back to your room. Get something comfortable on. I'll have a cup of coca made for you." He walked me to my room.

I was sitting on my bed, all comfy in pjs. Romily was purring on my belly. I thought about my life.
I was a little Smeet when the Control Brains told me I had a gift, a beautiful voice. I should use the gift to make my fellow friends happy. I left my home planet and came to this one, to build my career as a Singer.
I preformed in small restaurants and in city squares. Then at theme parks and conventions. Then I was getting asked to be in shows and competitions.
I mean I like my job- I love it and all its little perks. But sometimes I wonder where I would be if I hadn't taken up this profession. Would I just be some hobo? A business Irken? Would I be as important as I am now? I'm in a luxary hotel room, with hundreds of adoring fans leaving in high spirits- I hope- and millions more- Including My Tallest!- watching from their TVs.
My thoughts where interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Come in." I sat up.
A big, muscular Irken stepped inside my room. (relax y'all)
"Got your drink." He mumbled, holding up a plate with a mug on it.
"Um... thankssss." I took the cup.
He left the room but... did he walk off?
I let the warm steam hit my face. I took a long sip and sighed.
"Aw yeah that's the stuff!" I let Romily take a sip.
He curled up in a ball and fell asleep in my pocket.
I took another sip and put the mug down on my bedside table.
I felt a little tired. And rightfully so. Things have been so stressful lately...
My thoughts slowed down...
Thunk!
I fell to the ground.
I heard the door open. Someone picked me up and carried me down the hallway, then I blacked out.

Ooo~ spooky~ ur being kidnapped OoOoOOooooOOo~
