Alaska
I sigh and fall backwards onto my bed. Thanksgiving is coming up and my mom has been thinking about asking Calum's family over for Thanksgiving dinner. Julia's Family is coming over for Thanksgiving dinner like we do every year. I wish Julia was here she would always find a way to make me smile. I get up and change into leggings and a sweater. I put on a beanie and some white vans on. I go downstairs and grab my keys. "Where ya goin' sweetheart? " I'd hear my mom ask right as my hand is on the door. "I'm going to see Julia." I'd slowly turn to her looking at her with my tired eyes. I think she could tell I wasn't in the mood to talk.
"Ok Hun,just don't stay out too late, and also bring lankets it's cold out there!" she'd yell a little. I'd arrive at the cemetery and wait in the car for a couple seconds. 'Come on Alaska you can do it go see your best friend!' I'd think. I finally get out of my car and find Julia's Grave. I always tear up when I see it. "Hey Jules how have you been?" I'd say sitting down. " So I guess you probably haven't heard about Calum since like June?, but Its whatever. Anyways , I think I like him." Smirking as I say this. " I know what your thinking 'OMG I CANT BELIEVE YOU FINALLY HAVE THE GUTS TO SAY THAT YOU LIKE HIM!!' " I'd pause and chuckle , suddenly I hear footsteps and I see this tall figure walking towards the grave.
I'd finally get a closer look at his face and I see that it's Luke. His eyes land on me and he gives me a weak smile. "Hey Alaska." "What are you doing here?" "I came to see Julie, I always come to see her whenever I don't have anything planned , which is almost everyday." He chuckles a bit and then sits on the opposite side of me. " Why are you here?" He asks. " She's my best friend why else?!" I'd say with a little annoyance. "Alaska ?" "What?" "Do you think Jules would let me date someone?" I'd look at him and give him a confused look. " I met this girl Jocelyn and she's really great and all but I don't know if Julie will approve." He says this as if Jules was his girlfriend. I'd sigh " I mean she wouldn't want you to be a loner forever. I'd see half a smile creep up on his face. " Jocelyn reminds me a lot about her. Jocelyn is like another Julia but her name is Jocelyn and you two aren't best friends," I'd playfully punch him and the check what time it is.
Oh shit , my mom is going to be so pissed. "Luke I got to go my mom is going to be mad if I show up late. Bye Jules bye Luke!" I'd yell practically running to my car.
