Mingyu woke up, finally feeling the sunlight, which wasn't faint anymore, that had been dropping on his face for what felt like forever. The brown-haired boy opened his eyes slowly, letting the light illuminate his sight. Soon he found himself waking up in his room, sitting on his bed.

Ah, this room was his room he used while he was finishing college, now somewhere around his third year. A room in a little two-room house that he rented from a landlord which was his father's acquaintance. Comfy, if you might say. He got a free bed, one free wardrobe, along with desk and some other usual stuffs. Though, he had to use a shared bathroom outside with another housemate.

He opened his phone, greeted by a photo of his housemate--now boyfriend, no other than Jeon Wonwoo, the awkward senior who resided in this house of his uncle a year earlier than him. He smiled, from ear to ear, looking at his sweet smiling boyfriend's face on his screen. They had been together for roughly a year now, and being housemates let them spend most of their times together, as if it was their own household; though, they still did have their own room separate.

11.46 a.m.

He stood up from his bed and went to the mirror above his desk, checking on himself. To his surprise though, he looked a lot nicer than his usual wake-up look. Maybe it was just one lucky flawless day he had, or maybe not, he didn't know. He went out of his room, still dressed in his pajamas, to find just yet another silence. His boyfriend didn't seem to be around, though he could remember they slept together last night in his room. The living room was just the same size as his room, but with a TV and a sofa, connected with doorless dining room and kitchen on the back. He walked across the house towards his boyfriend's room and knocked on it; funny how memories of his first attempt knocking the door flashed in his mind managed to make him smile.

"Babe?" he called out as he knocked. A few times more and there was no answer. As his stomach growled, he gave up and went to the refrigerator. "I'm so hungry," he grumbled along the way.

Opening the metal door, he found almost nothing. Is it already time for our monthly restock? he thought to himself. It wasn't really nothing, but at least, nothing he could eat to satisfy his hunger. Did he maybe go to the supermarket by his own? Surprising me?

The thought somehow made the tall male excited. He immediately thought of ruining his plan by going to the nearby supermarket they usually went to and meet him there, practically reversing the surprise. The imagination of how Wonwoo would react made him smile as he went back to his room to change his clothes, replacing the lower pajamas with a pair of sweatpants and putting on baseball jacket. He didn't bother to shower first so he just splashed water on his face for a few times and finger-combed his hair. Ready to go, he took his own keys from his desk and went out of the house, immediately struck by mild spring morning breeze gently blowing on his hair.

He started to walk on the pavement by the street with hands in his pockets, as a few cars of fellow residences passed by him as well as some kids playing in nearby park with their parents. The supermarket wasn't far; it would be just around seven to eight houses away from their rented house. With his mind still wrapping around how precious Wonwoo would look when he hugged him in the supermarket, he quickened his steps in excitement, his sneakers tapping on the concrete beneath him.

A few seconds into the walk, two figures started to shape in front of him, walking towards the opposite direction of him, getting closer. It would be nothing to Mingyu's care if the two were someone he didn't know; in fact, he stopped on his track, trying to see if he was witnessing things for real, not just hallucinating.

His eyes weren't deceiving him, to his dismay, they knew both of them. The two males approaching him slowly step by step were walking side by side, fingers interconnected with another hand of each carrying a full plastic bag.

Staring silently, he waited for the two figures to slowly get clearer, and maybe just maybe, they would realize it was him standing before them as the two chatted fondly with each other. Not a few seconds afterwards, one of them looked up and noticed Mingyu's presence, and quickly was sent astonished, a terrified face drawn across. The other male got tugged by the hands holding, until he was told, that Mingyu was standing not far from them.

"W-what's this?" Mingyu tried his best not to stutter, but it was to no avail. The sight upon him came as too much of a blow to him. Lucky though, he was strong enough to resist his tears. "What's this, Wonwoo?!"

The two males were still in the very same state of disbelief, but damn Mingyu was very much beyond that to his thinking. Who wouldn't be surprised to wake up one day with a memory of all-night cuddling with your very own significant other, just to find them being with someone else? And not forgetting to add the fact that it was Wen Junhui, their very best friend; the betrayal felt so strong.

"I SAID, WHAT IS THIS?!" Mingyu repeated, his voice piercing the quiet still air between the three of them. No pedestrians around was to their favor, although some motorcycle riders on the street would turn their heads towards the source of commotion.

Wonwoo started to tremble in disbelief, so much that he dropped his plastic bag. He let go of the weakening fingers of Jun's and walked slowly, feet wavering in the very same state of disbelief, towards Mingyu. "M-Mingyu?"

Mingyu wasn't sure what to do; he knew Wonwoo was surprised to know that Mingyu, his actual boyfriend, just witnessed him holding hands with his affair by his very own eyes. But the look of surprise on Wonwoo's was more than it. He stayed in his place as Wonwoo got closer step by step. "Mingyu?! Is this really you?!" Wonwoo again asked in incredulity. Mingyu knew something was wrong as Wonwoo started to approach him closely, holding his face like it was something imaginary but heck, he couldn't wrap his mind around it; they just cuddled last night!

But Mingyu knew he had to push him away soon as Wonwoo planted a quick kiss on his lips, sending the older shocked, a heartbroken expression drawn on his face, before Wonwoo's limp legs finally unable to support his weight. "DO YOU THINK A KISS MIGHT MAKE UP FOR YOU CHEATING ON ME?!" Mingyu lost it, he had to admit. He felt his face hot and eyes watery.

Jun came into rescue just before Wonwoo fell to the ground; the Chinese male now was holding his boyfriend tight, while the other male never release his stare at the tallest, eyes looking empty as ever, in shock, and disbelief. "M-M-Min-g-gyu..." he muttered almost inaudibly before breaking down crying.

"So are you going to play victim no--"

"MINGYU, STOP!" Jun cut him off with a shout, his eyes letting tears drop as well. He hugged Wonwoo close, letting him cry on his chest while he was at it. "Is this really what you are doing to him after disappearing for 4 years?!"

And that was more than enough to make Mingyu silent, far more than enough. This just didn't make sense to him.
