(U/N) POV

Me and Kirito just entered Lisbeth's shop. The bell alerted her that someone has entered. When she cames out she sees it's us and hugs Kirito.

"You're all back safe and sound, now how were your findings," She asks

"We found a camp and imprisoned all of them," Kirito says pushing her off him.

"So they weren't all that bad I guess then," Lisbeth says

"actually, even I had no trouble against them," I told her

"That's good, no more kidnapping for them I guess," Lisbeth says proudly

"You didn't do anything," Kirito says plainly

"Hahaha, right," Lisbeth says scratching the back of her head

"Anyway I need to be going cya," Kirito says

"Going already, fine cya" Lisbeth protests. I gave him a little nod and waved him off.

"Are you two close?" I ask

"Eh, if I had my way I'd be closer" she replies with a sad smile

"Love Rival?" I ask

Lisbeth blushes and says, "I guess, she's my best friend tho"

"Ah," I say

It was an awkward silence until Lisbeth asks a question.

"You don't have anywhere to sleep right?" She asks

"Yea, I guess I don't" I reply

"If you want you could hang out here with me for a bit" she proposes

"Really, then I'd gladly accept it but how did you guess?" I ask

"When you bumped into me, you have a clueless look on your face, you also looked really sad," she says

"Yea, I guess I am," I tell her

"What to share?" She asks

"Sure, in the scheme of thing I have no one to return home to, my parents died in this game, my friends died in this game, and my poor poor Crystal also died," I say with tears starting to stream down my face and my stomach tightens up. "It's killing me, I can't bear it" I finish

Lisbeth is clearly shocked by my sudden waterworks.

"You know, I lost a ton of friends too, I can't fully compare to you because I still have my family. But even then, I still have made plenty of new friends" Lisbeth says trying to cheer me up.

"Dam it, you have gone through the same stuff and look at you. You own your own shop, you can smile. I can't even have a happy moment without my body feeling like shit. Your way stronger then I am. All I did was lounge in an Inn drinking my sorrows away" I continue

Lisbeth pulled me in for a hug and we stayed like that until I stopped. Once I did I looked at Lisbeth to see she had tears of her own.

"You know, I never would have known what you were going through if you didn't show me. I was so mad when you bumped into me and all the weapons I made were scattered on the ground. I didn't even think about what was going on in your head" Lisbeth says

"Even I don't know what going on up there," I say grimly.

"Let's cheer you up together," she says with her smile returning

"Good luck, I hope you know your in for a challenge," I tell her

"No matter, I shall overcome this great quest," She says with a manly voice

"Doesn't fit you, that voice is just terrible" I say with a straight face

"Darn," she says as she scratches her head

"So do you live there?" I ask

"Yep, it's all in one, my weapon workshop, my store and my home." She says proudly

"Wow, hard to believe you did this all by your self," I say in amazement

"Actually it wasn't all by myself, I had some help from the Lightning Swordsmen and his friends, at first the locals didn't like me and didn't allow me to buy a building." She tells me

"Ah, that's interesting, I've heard a lot about the Lightning Swordsmen, heard he might be able to beat even the black Swordsmen toe to toe," I say

"I wouldn't say, Kirito might be a little stronger than him, don't get me wrong, he is pretty strong just not on Kirito's level," Lisbeth says

We talk for a bit until it becomes dark out. Throughout the day I noticed that not a single customer came in.

"Is having no customers normal?" I ask

"Usually I have plenty of them, just the rumour of the unsafe safe zone has spooked people away" Lisbeth answers me

"Ah I see," I tell her

"Your bed is this way, it's right beside mine since I don't have much space in here for beds," She says

I look at our so-called beds to be met with two sleeping bags about a foot away from each other.

"No complaints from me, after all, it's free," I say

"My point exactly," Lisbeth says as she snuggles up in her bed

"Night," I say as I get in mine

"Night" Lisbeth answers

I went to sleep easily but I rediscover the reason why I don't like sleeping

"(Y/N) why didn't you save me!" My mother yells at me

"It's your fault (Y/N)" my father cuts in

"I thought you loved me" Crystal adds

"We were BFFs, or so I thought," my best friend says

The voices repeat over and over for a few hours until I couldn't handle it. I burst from my nightmare with not actually being able to move. I look at my chest to see Lisbeth on top of me. I can feel my face heat up and Crystal's voice quickly appears in my head

"You cheater!"

"Shut up," I tell my head

"I just want some peace and quiet, they are died so just leave me alone!" I say out loud

It didn't wake up Lisbeth and I was able to sleep the rest of the night fully with no dreams.
