My eyes shot open, the familiar metallic smell of blood filled my nose. Then I remembered what happened. I was still drenched in red paint.

I glance over to Poland who was leaning on my shoulder asleep. I gave him a small nudge. "Pol wake up we're drenched in paint and we need to leave before Mexico wakes up," my eyes trail over to Mexico's passed out body. Luckily still the same as when we were asleep.

"Hnng-" he groaned and rubbed his eyes, "good morning I guess," he yawned. "You can go clean up, I'll watch over the body after we finish up we'll leave immediately for Texas hopefully we can find Germany..." Poland says to me.

I nod skipping over to the bathroom to wash up immediately.

The red paint swirled around on the wet floor into the drain it was like I was bleeding but not really. All my wounds have already cleared up after a good nap.

I really hoped Germany was on our side, if not then we just lost some good intel. But I guess the person behind this is smart, but I guess it could be anyone to be honest.

There must be something that connected all the countries who were effected. Maybe a war? A dispute? Something in common? Maybe only the big shot countries.

But that doesn't quite make sense, Indo, Mal and Phil aren't quite as large and threatening as the others who've chased after me like America or China.

Does it basically just effect all countries? No, Antarctica and Greenland helped me. Unless it was a scheme too? Am I truly alone in this one sided war?

For now I'm guessing all the countries aren't being controlled, they still have their original personalities etched into them deep down. So the person behind this is a good convincer I guess.

Who might that be?

Wait.

I just remembered America's words. The ones who love me the most will chase after me. Is that the thing everyone has in common?

Wait no that doesn't make sense either, I'm pretty sure Poland has feelings for me. After all he did confess that one time. I really hope to never relive that ever again it was such and awkward moment.

I'm really stuck, I'm really hoping to find Germany fast.

"Ah shit," I cursed, I'm probably taking a really long time in here just thinking to myself. I should get out.

I turn the handle and step out of the shower, I fit into a new set of clothes I sort of stole from this house. Water drops trickled down my hair, splashing on the floor.

I step out of the bathroom, Poland was there. His eyes didn't falter from Mexico even when I entered the room. "I'll watch him, you wash up."

-----

"Alright if you're done then I'll treat your wounds," I reach out to help the Polish man. He flinched. "O-okay," he stammered.

I grab the first aid kit again and help out his wounds. "Don't worry I'm strong enough to take us places even when I'm wounded, I really want to meet Niemcy as soon as possible."

"If you're up for it then it's fine, I don't think we can stay here any longer anyway." I glance over at the damaged wall, exposing the inside of the house. "Haha.. yeah I guess so," Poland laughed.

"There all done!" I wiped the sweat off my face, we both gave each other a nod before Poland grabbed me in his arms and we flew off.

"Do you know the way to Texas?" I sweep the hair off my face. The rushing wind was refreshing yet also scary in a way. Like for example if Poland were to betray me and drop me now I would most definitely die unless some miracle happened.

"I visit America a lot for UN meetings, I know the way around," he gave me a reassuring smile. Wow he's actually mature for once. I'm glad though for the support. Carrying me must not be easy.

"It'll take quite awhile but I'm sure we'll pull through,"

We flew and flew and flew. We took breaks every 10 minutes since that's Poland's limit for his ability. We use this cool down time to the fullest by regaining our energy for the next 10 minutes. Basically the cool down time for Poland's abilities are about 10 minutes too so it's an equivalent exchange.

For some reason animals still exist in this world despite the void of missing humans. I mean it is another version of the world.

Throughout the whole trip me and Poland were swerving left and right avoiding birds and becoming potential murderers.

At one point I got some food at a fast food restaurant and gave Poland some. Unfortunately I forgot he was technically a bird but the reaction he had when he saw it was priceless. I'm referring to fried chicken by the way.

Back to the present, me and him are sitting on a rooftop with our favorite drinks in hand. "Are we almost there yet?" I groan in annoyance. "This is taking longer than I thought but I think we're around Arizona."

"No wonder it's so fucking hot here!" I chuckle. He chuckled along. "I hope we can get through this together and hopefully with Germany by our side maybe the others too," I smile proudly.

"Yeah me too-"

A fast gust of wind rushed past me, I hurriedly whipped my head to see the source but it was too late. A metal rod hit me in the back of my head. I started to feel dizzy and my vision was closing in.

I heard Poland shout for me behind me. I'm going to fall off the ledge of the roof. Well I'm pretty sure the metal rod to the back of my head won't kill me but it'll probably do some damage to me. Followed by some bleeding. Let's hope i don't bleed to death by the time I wake up.

My eyes shut tight with the only comfort being the sound of Poland shouting my name.

A/N : My friend found my acc and read my story. I asked them what they thought and they said that my fans didn't actually enjoy the plots I make but rather it's just that my fans enjoy the X reader stuff.

Even though I mostly just do this for fun it still hurts because my fan's comments are what motivates me to continue this story.

I'm still gonna continue the story don't worry, I'm just trying not to let their words get to me.
