"Why are they here?"

"I heard the black-haired boy was a streetfighter where he was from."

"I heard the redhead is a well known artist."

T, getting annoyed at the comments, drags his companions into the classroom.

"Ugh, thanks, T. That was getting annoying," N sighs, lightly hitting his shoulder. She turns to K, smirking, "So, K? Streetfighter rumor? True or no?"

K chuckles, smirking, "Yeah, I am. Got the nickname King after a few matches."

"Why?" C questions, glancing between K and N. 'What's up with them? Do they —?' She thinks, inwardly squealing.

"I was the strongest in the ring," K smirked, looking up in remembrance, "but I never gave myself that nickname. The audience did."

"Whatever K. Come on guys let's go," T urges for whatever reason.

T and his companions walk towards the classroom with sudden urgency. Sets of eyes still followed as they inched closer to the classroom, despite them being nothing but normal.

T walks into the class with the others following. Looking around, N scans the room looking for open seats. A couple seconds passed when she finally points to four open desks in the corner.

The four quickly walks over and took a seat, quietly whispering among themselves.

"I swear the academy is full of nosy rich kids," N sighs, rolling her eyes.

"You can't possibly blame them, N. Most of them have probably been here since they were kids. Most kids and teens, if and when, they show any type of ability they get shipped over there to train and enhance them," C whispers, shaking her head. "It's not their fault."

"N, most of the people here aren't even upper-class," T points out, looking at the two other students in the classroom. "Most of the students here look like they're middle-class."

"How do you know?" N asks, eyeing him. "Considering how prestigious Delphine Academy is, I'm sure getting into the school has been proven to be quite difficult."

"N," He groans, "Just trust me. Most of the school is middle-class. Call it intuition."

"Okay. . ." N sings, "Mother knows best."

T clicks his tongue, shaking his head. "N stop it," He replied, a small smile appearing on his face.

K snickered at N's comment, saying none of his own.

T eyes him, sending him a knowing smirk, "Of course, you'd laugh at N's comment."

K glares, "What are you implying, T?"

"You know exactly what I'm implying, K," T responds, smirking.

"Yeah, that's like saying you like C," K scoffs, looking out the window.

Not opening her eyes, C mutters, "Don't drag me into this. T, shut up. K, get your feelings in order."

K growls as a response, "Don't even C. All of us just met earlier today."

"Doesn't mean there's no such thing as 'Love in first sight'" T snickers, air quoting love at first sight.

"T!" K growls, "I swear I'll knock you out right now, T."

N decided that now was the time before she interjected. She listened to the entire conversation but just never cared to respond. She leans forward, eyes hard.

"Stop," N growls. "We need to calm down. T, stop messing with K. K, don't beat up the nerd. We need to figure out why we're here before we are broken down and remade."

T was about to argue, but N's eyes told him not to. Nobody else had something to say so N continued, "We were brought here for a reason. A reason that may be as vile as well, Delphine Academy can be."

T raised his eyebrows in question when she whispered in the end but said nothing to avoid the terror of N's wrath.

"For whatever reason that may be, the Head of the academy likes the four of us sticking together. As in assigning us to the same dorm room and in the same classes. He or she probably knows the reason why we are here, even if we never displayed any type of ability since we have woken up in that stupid truck," N mentions, dismissing the importance for now.

She eyes the boys, glaring at them. She points, "Instead, we should be working together to find out the reason we were brought here in the first place. That means not fighting and arguing over who knows what? We need to trust each other even if that's hard and potentially impossible to do. We know virtually nothing of each other nor do we remember anything of ourselves."

Nobody gets to respond before the teacher walks in and gets the classes attention. But one thing stuck in everyone's mind.

Trust each other
